I hate having my photo taken any time, but there are times that we allneed to have a photo taken.I had to have two passport size photos taken to go on my disabled parking badge(blue badge).I look soo old compared to the other photo that i had on my old badge,i could not believe that i looked soo old in a space of just 2 years.I am now thinking its time for the anti ageing creams.

anti aging products - Do you use anti aging product? We turning old year by year and it probably can be seen very clearly from your face, if you not take care of your skin probably and carefully. Natural anti aging products are the best choice, there are a lot of amazing ingredients comes from the natural like green tea, pomegranate, fruit enzymes, essential oils, sea weed, vitamins, minerals and many more can help you to take care of your skin and keep you look young.
I think the market anti aging cream is not good in the long run, why not try to use the natural product that will make you look young, an amazing array of ingredients like green tea, pomegranate, fruit enzymes, essential oils, sea weed, vitamins, minerals and more are being used in natural anti-aging skin care products, so apply these to you skin will help much better than a chemically produced anti aging product.

I think you are right, yspmyl. Maybe these products look good for a little while but in the long run I think they do more harm that good. The natural things are great and even greater if we use them internally as well as cosmetically.

Are you allowed to smile on the blue badge photo? The reason I ask is that Mum has a pass for the bus and she was told not to smile, which is ridiculous but true. Not smiling makes everyone look older in my opinion but Mum wasn't allowed to smile, and that was that. As for anti-ageing creams, I can recommend them but they DO vary. I can't see the point of buying day and night creams either..just the one will do. I go for the night creams, always have done. I'm sure you look great on photos. I think we all feel a bit insecure, no matter how old we are. My avatar photo, for example, is over 2 years old and I've thought about having it replaced but have no photos to replace it WITH as I just hate having my photo taken.

Here in Canada we aren't allowed to smile in any of our official photos anymore. My driver's lisence, my passport, anything governement you aren't allowed to smile and if you do they do another picture. I think it's stupid.

lol =D We do grow old as years passes by. The difference can be seen more clearly when we are in the transition period, between certain age. If not, 2 years should not have any obvious changes that others can point out easily.. hehe ^_^ I think i'm still looking about the same compared to 2 years ago, nothing changed except for more facial hair.. lol =D

You don't need creams, what you need is a photoshop or a photoscape.

I was thinking exact same thing. I wonder if that is allowed for this kind of photo and if the studio will do it for you.

We women seems to age faster when we stopped doing anything to slow down the aging process. For the more conscious ones, just a day or two without doing any facial or applying eye creams, toner and more, they will find themselves older by at least 10 years! Is that psychology that's playing tricks on their eyes? I do take good care of how i look because of the nature of my work, i have to be presentable and at my best anytime.

Ah yes, I know how you feel. Unless you have a lot of money to spend on "antiaging" stuff, don't bother. I have the same problem, I look (at least to me) old. I've tried several cheaper anti-aging creams and I don't really see much. From what I've read, the good ones cost megabucks as does botox which works well. I wouldn't have surgery for the obvious reason $$$. A good moisturizer, night cream and sun block is about all you can do. Genes have a large part too as well as your weight and how well you eat and take care of yourself. I just try to stay away from mirrors.

Hi JJ, I am the same as you, also I have to have 2 passport photo's done for my disabled blue badge, it is amazing how our faces change from year to year especially as we get older-mind I wouldn't use anti-ageing cream any cold cream is just as good, all these anti-ageing creams are so expensive and other cold creams do just the same job and are less expensive.. ive always looked younger than i was but i noticed as soon as my health problems started and i started having to take meds there was less of an age difference in my looks and most of it was skin related to the meds screwing it up.. one medication that really screwed up my skin (kind of dulled my skin on my face) once i stopped it went back to normal but i dont know if all are like that an dsome i cant quit to find out

I don't really notice how old I am becoming in pictures because I get them regularly. It is when I compare old photographs with recent ones that I realize that I am getting so old. Like in passports, or driver's license. No anti-aging creams for me. I think us guys are a bit luckier as lines on our faces just make us more distinguished.

Oh my god, you know what? i look so old and ugly in the photos as well and i hate it when people take my photo because it is just, i don't look good in photos because i am not really a 'photo' person. When i see some people looking good in photos, it makes me jealous and i became depressed and stuff but who cares whether i look good or bad in photos!!!

I have a blue badge as well and i look really old on my photo as well. They always want a most recent photo done as well and each time i look older not by a few years by no end of years.Yet if you look in a mirror you look totally different.I am pleased that the photo has not got to be on display when using it.

Oh dear...Aging is inevitable and I am sure that they are probably not very good photos anyway and you don’t look like that is ‘real life’! As I said getting older is inevitable and if you stay positive and happy you can still look beautiful even with a few wrinkles! The creams on the market are usually very expensive and I doubt they really work anyway...Love yourself as you are...

Anyway how old are you? If you think you are about to use any anti aging cream means you really accept that you are old.(just kiddin) yes sometimes we don't notice the time that has passed because of so many things to do and being busy. We forget about ourselves, our own needs about personal. And like what you have mention that there are differences about the age look at your picture with the interval of two years. That length of time gives you so much attention to your work for your family and needs. And then after, when you look in front of the mirror you can now see the difference between your old look and the new one..

you sound just like my boyfriend,he had to have a passport photo done the other week,he kept looking at it saying how old and wrinkly he looked, and how that wasn't him,and me being my normal blunt self,i told him that is exactly how he looks and has done for quite a while,,he wasn't impressed, but like i told him, pictures never lie whereas the mirror does

I actually don't like to have my picture taken at all. The last time that there was a picture of me taken was during the summer at a family reunion and I actually wasn't happy that my picture was taken at that time, but I really didn't have a choice in the matter. However, I have taken pretty good care of my skin, so it isn't my skin that is making me look older than I am, I think that it is because of the fact that I am a heavier person.

I don't like taking photos, either.I look either older or fatter or anything else except more beautiful. It might not be the reason of yourself but of the camera or the photogragher. So just look at yourself in the mirror,if you feel good, then don't bother about the photos.
