Do you like flavored coffeebeans ie butter rum, creme brulee etc. or do you like just plain coffee? My boyfriend and roomate only like unflavored coffee beans while I like flavored beans. I have to buy a special stash just for myself to get some flavored beans and coffee.

Hubby likes a kona roast or a breakfast blend, which I can drink. But I like experimenting with different coffee flavors. Right now I am drinking Pumpkin Spice from Dunkin Donuts and really like it. I was never really a coffee drinker until about six months ago!

They make some really great flavors in coffee beans. That is funny that you were never a coffee drinker until six months ago. I have been drinking coffee for over 30 years. It is a staple with me, but primarily in the mornings.

I like unflavored coffees best. I have to be in the right mood for a flavored coffee. I keep different coffee syrups in the house that people can add to their individual cups if they want it.

Don Francisco's Butter Rum used to be my favorite in the 90s and I highly recommend Godiva's Creme Brulee.
I've been going through the same thing as you and I figure that if you didn't buy it, then leave it be.
When I was single I had all kinds of coffee paraphernalia and even a special display table for all the condiments. I loved to entertain like this. Miss my single days.
The good thing is that I've had opportunities to use my french press (another concept the man of the house disapproves of) to make coffee.
Someone mentioned flavored creamer. I miss the flavored half and half that came out a few years ago.
I understand there are some pretty good coffee beans that are unflavored but I can't see myself getting into that anytime soon.

i do sometimes treat myself flavored coffee beans but most the time unflavored coffee is what i use, the only problem is flavored coffee is adds more calories in it and some chems..

I agree that both unflavored and flavored beans are good, I like a little bit of flavor, whether that come from the beans or the creamer. Most recently I tried hazelnut flavored beans, but the best flavored beans I have ever tried are chocolate from the Roasterie in Kansas City. it is Chris Elbow chocolate blend flavored coffee...to die for :) It is a bit pricey though, but available online. Have you ever tried buying flavored coffee creamers? I hate plain coffee. I only drink flavored coffee. But it's too much to take my own set of coffee beans to work. So I just buy the flavored creamer, be it the liquid or powdered one. I keep the powdered on on my desk at work.
