For those who had call center experience for over a year or so, I'm sure you're familiar to the term "call center hopper" as you work with some agents who transferred from one company to another like they're changing clothes. I'm one of those hoppers as I have transferred four times before I was hired in my current job and those employers that I applied to always ask me why I resigned, and the most difficult part is when they want you to tell them each reasons for leaving from those previous companies you worked for and you're not ready for answers because you can't simply tell them that you got bored and want to find a better company which can offer better compensation and benefits. When I was asked this question by the interviewer I decided to say for personal reasons, citing family members and various problems with my previous company but the interviewer made various inquiries about those problems so I had to be very creative and a good actor when answering those questions. I felt very tired in my brain before they stop questioning my previous work experience then finally I got hired again. I'm planning to stay for a bit longer because I want to have a position someday in my company. Being a hopper for me has some benefits because I have learned things on different company and those things I've learned help me a lot in doing my job.

it is but reasonable for a worker to seek better opportunities, especially in a call center environment. being a call center employee myself, i find it difficult to adjust to the demands of the job which are far different from a regular office job. because of that, we seek for a company which compensates for the hardships we go through day to day.

i would say its good to hop from one call center to another because it gives you an increase in your salary and also gain alot of experience.
But growth wise.. not happening.
What you can do is probably stay in a call center for atleast 6 months to a year and then probably when you jump it would not look that bad on your resume.

It's not really good. I used to be a hopper but when I finally decide to stay in a company, the account was closed. So, i have no other choice but to look for another job. Call center jobs are really boring especially if you aren't allowed to view websites that will at least eases the boredom. So, I'm now looking for a call center that allows access to the Internet even during production time. I think it really shouldn't be an issue. But to answer your question even more, hoppers doesn't enjoy the benefit of a long time employee like vacation leaves etc.
