Hello! Well good question my friend. Trimming your hair is generally a good thing for health strenght of the hair..but not obviously for length. Trimming will eliminate split hairs and unhealthy threads so that's the strenght part. I have a fragile hair and i trim my hair once in a while like once in two weeks or once per month and I didn't notice any special changes. But these are factors that affect your hair growth : -stress -smoking -agressive habits [ like touching your forehead too often] -nutrition -different diseases -hygiene -stupid hair products like foam or gells [As a aditional information having long hair doesn't cause balding. Shor hair is probably more likely to fall because of hair foam or other things]. If you still have question you should go check your local dermatologist , you would get far more good information there. Sorry for any typos I am using a weird laptop right now. Have a nice hair!

Hair only grow 1/2 inch a month normally, frequent trimming doesn't affect the grow of the hair.

Cutting the split ends from the bottom reduces the amount of overall breakage and weakness of the hair making it stronger and sturdier. it doesn't directly make the hair grow, but it keeps it healthy so it CAN grow.

hi bart you are right it does not make it grow faster and you are stick with hair much shorter than you w anted at least it has been for me, I like my hair long but friends thought old ladies should all have damned short hair, now I willnot get it cut for four months as it will take a long t ime to get long like I really liked it. I will not listen to people next time. its my hair and I want it long.

Trimming hair frequently doesn't make your hair grow faster.if you want your hair grow fast then eat healthy and balanced diet and do some kind of exercise daily. take a multivitamin capsule daily it will surely make your hair grow
