God is always Up to Something

Were there times in your life when you received a Word from God about His plan for you? You started to obey but then suddenly something happens that made you doubt if you are actually doing the right thing? You almost give up, distracted by a lot of detours, but God suddenly brings you to a place when you don't have any choice but to simply trust Him? It's like what happened to Peter when Jesus commanded him to step out of the boat and walk on water. Peter obeyed and did actually walk on water with Jesus. But when he saw the wind and the waves, he got so afraid and started to drown. It's a good thing Jesus saved him. Peter simply fixed his eyes on the waves and the winds instead of Jesus. I have moments in my life when God told me to do this and that. I obeyed. Yet, He allows painful trials to test my faith and build my character. As i look back, I realized that the pain actually achieved something better in my life. Truly, God is amazing!

HIS Word said, "MY plan is to prosper you and not to harm you. To give you a future and a hope..." GOD's plan is always for our good. There are times we thought it was GOD who cause the pains and hurts in our life. But when we carefully analyze the situation, it was because of our disobedience that caused us the pains and the hurts that we've gone through. We suffer the consequences of our own mistakes. When JESUS commanded Peter to follow HIM on the water, notice that Peter was able to walk on water too. It's because of his faith and trust that made Peter do what JESUS did. But when Peter started to lose his focus on the LORD he started to sink and drowned. Peter was distracted by the strong waves and started to fear. He forgot that JESUS was with him. There were also times that I was distracted with alot of things around me. At times some people began to influence me and lose track of HIS will. But if we trust and have faith in GOD we will surely follow what HE says and will not doubt HIS word. We just have to establish our relationship with HIM by seeking HIM daily in prayer and Bible reading.

Yes God is truly amazing for His purpose in our life. Like to me before I'm like a wave in the ocean when the wind come I go without any sure direction but now when I surrender with Jesus, totally change my life into a direction that God knows beter for me. Now our life is in the hands of God, Who is our driver, our friend and our tourguide wherever we go, whatever we do, He is there for us.. Right... see you around..

Our lives have been like that so much. When we were buying the house in Owen Sound we wondered if we had heard right, and when things looked hopeless as far as getting the mortgage on the place we almost thought we had made a mistake but God pulled us through because He had a divine purpose for us being there. I've just, this week, been writing about it in my blog www.godleadsusalong.com. where I have posted so many of those types of situations.

God is really awesome! He always gives us trials/challenges to make us a better person and I believe that He gives us challenges that He knows we can overcome. All we need to do is trust in His love for us and everything will be in its proper place. God only wants what is best for us so let us continue trusting Him.
