In the modern society marriage has lost its value for the people mostly because of money, career and such. As for myself I cannot imagine my life without it. You can call me old fashioned but I want a lot of kids and I want to raise them in a family. For the money-hunting careeristic people it's just a piece of paper but for me is symbol of togetherness and commitment. So the question is; which one you choose? The money or marriage?

It's hard to choose both of them because they are all important in every person. It's terrible if you have alot of money but you don't your own family. It's also hard to endure nowadays if you have family and you don't have money. It's very hard to think and to choose. What I did, I got marriage this year and after a month I left my wife and working here abroad for the money that we can used it the whole family. I need both so for me I don't want to choose them both and select only one. Better you own both for a happy life.

As we used to say from s**t you cannot build a castle. It's very hard to despite the fact that this time I write this comment I haven't got a single nickle in my pocket but I do have to pay the bills and to eat....well it seems to become a luxury. Money makes money this is the oldest saying ever the wheel was invented. So as it is, having a family and a normal life after all simply turning into a fairytale, something unreachable. In this situation better to have no family at all according to your post. As the Metallica sing...sad but true

Hi Dannyvale,
Money is essential in any human being's life and without money we cannot move a single step in this world. At the same time Marriage is a wonderful bonding which is the life and gives us life.
I am married with my wonderful wife 8 years ago, marriage gave me much more confidence, and it added meaning to my life and as well as my career.I need to flourish in my career for my wife and for my kid,I love doing something to them buying a small piece of cake to my son also gives me immense pleasure which I cant buy with money.
Marriage is life and money is essential.
Happy mylotting

I am happy for you really. :) It's great to see such people like yourself because it gives me a reason to keep going forward to reach this state of love and tranquility. Money is essential I have to admit but if I feel love for someone it's regarding her personality not her financial situation. What I mean even money is necessary to have a life it cannot define a happy living. Like you said a piece of cake or a smile is even more rewarding for the everyday difficulties and trials ahead.

I don't think it comes down to "money or marriage". I feel that the circumstances surrounding love and marriage are far more complex than that. I feel that there are a lot more tragedies in this world, than functional relationships. The stakes are too high. There are too many people in it for themselves, "I am going to find me a sugar momma/ daddy and mooch them dry." If you have learned from the burn, then you should know that, until you can read a person's mind, in the MOST LITERAL SENSE, gambling your heart is extremely risky. Both from a financial and emotional standpoint.
I can love a woman, be monogamous with a woman, and make the relationship extraordinary and special WITHOUT a superficial tradition like marriage. It is a totally unnecessary risk.
