well, it doesnt really make me sick looking at NHS players, because im sure all of them make a hell of a lot more money than the average person. it makes me sick in general that ANYONE can make that much money for playing a sport or singing a song or acting in a movie. it's quite disgusting and unfortunate that our society allows something like that when there are millions, even billions, of people starving and dying from curable diseases and not being able to drink clean water. just think what that money could do for the rest of the world. nobody needs to have that much money.

They get so much because they are greedy and there is a huge amount of money going into football. I wanted to get a football shirt for my baby son and even though the team is not a really big one, well not in Premiership or whatever it's called now, they were still charging £30 to £45 for a shirt to fit an 18 month old baby! Of course, I didn't get him one, but if these smaller clubs can get away with that, I'd hate to think what the likes of Man. Utd get away with. So they make so much revenue from overpricing because there are obviously people willing to pay so much and that's why they get paid so much.
And yes I agree with you, they are only playing a game, why should they be paid for it at all?
