What's the first site you open to when you go on the Internet? Why?

The first site I open to is this site called Tumblr. Tumblr is basically a blogging site, like Blogger, where you can post things about yourself, read other people's posts, or just laugh at loud at a funny picture. I'd say I do it because it definitely helps me through my roughest days. I get a chance to let things out that I wouldn't let out to anyone else. And I blog pretty much. But that's only me. I know lots of you guys open other different sites when you click that Internet button! I'd like to know what it is. Whether it's Yahoo!, Google, MSN, or even myLot! I'd like to know.

Its MyLot.....i find that the infos here are endless it also have the same function like u mention, already mind is kaching kaching everytime i open MyLot....from this site you can go to other good sites that are recommended by fellow Lotters, by the way m an internetholic.....

That's a good answer! I find that myLot redirects you to other sites that are very interesting. It's surely not time wasted! And it helps your brain grasp onto new information.

for me, it is my e-mail which is yahoo... i always like to keep updated on my e-mail and i check them on a daily basis... recently, since i am just being laid off work and in the process of looking for another job, i also start to look for job-searching websites the moment i get into the internet... take care and have a nice day...

I actually have Gmail, which I think is better than Hotmail. I have lots of emails to reply also.

I have choosed my first site which is set like a home page to be Facebook.I don`t know why,but first thing that I do when connect to see my friends and what new happens around them.Sometimes they text me something immportant.And I would like to see this first.

I first open up my emails on yahoo and gmail to check mails from my family and friends and more of the notifications on the sites I am involve. The rest will be Mylot site and FB.
I also do watch news online by login in to gmanews.tv to get updated on the daily news happening in my country. I sometimes do read Times of India also which is the newspaper online.

I usually open more than one sites at a time. They are facebook, hotmail and mylot. Facebook because i am really interested in what my friends are doing or if they are trying to contact me. Also hotmail is for the same thing or if my teacher sent me some work via email. And mylot because there is where i actually make some little money online.

when i open my computer and then i open Mozilla then i'll go to mylot and also to Facebook why Facebook because i'll go to my game in my Facebook and why mylot? because i want to open a new discussion and also i want to post a comment to others.

Right now it's Mylot, because I'm very absorbed by it at the moment, but before mylot, then it was facebook. I used facebook for 3-4 hours a day, but I don't do that anymore. Since I have began to earn money online, then i have got no time for facebook almost. I go to mylot, because I want to see if someone has responded to my discussions, or if anything new has happened in here.

Hi keegan,
First I will open my gmail to check the mails and notifications from mylot. Then I will go to mylot and give the replies to comments if necessary. Then just go through the friend’s discussions and top topics. If I am busy with work then I minimize both windows and concentrate my work.

the first website i opened the first time I used the Internet was my university website because I had bought a computer as I was going to study at the university.

When i first come on internet i open my gmail e-mail id to look for all the activities in my all sites where i have signedup, i just see their notifications. And after that i visit mylot to parthcipate in all the discussions etc. Happy mylotting. Regards, harry.
