Isn't it terrible when someone post 10 discussions in a row?

I just hate that. It's so annoying ...
I don't want to say names (nicknames), because i don't remember them, but when i see someone, who has posted around 3-4 discussions in a row in "questions and answers" as example, or somewhere else - that piss me off.
This is when i ask myself why that person is doing it? Post in 10 minutes one new, next 10 minutes another one... and even today something took my eyes - i couldn't see any answers in the discussions of one person... but the same person didn't stop posting new and new.
What do you think about it? I don't look that way, when i catch that ...

Yes, I think it is rude when people post
monotonous discussions, one after another in
the same category without looking for answers.
And, I agree with your point of view on that.
They should have spread the questions and answers
around to various categories to obtain better
responses and give other people the chance to respond
to their discussions.
The point of these discussions is to draw responses,
not just post nonsense questions that no one really
wants to answer.
Mylot is a not a poll center.
We don't just post polls and get paid.
But, that would be nice, right?
Just doesn't happen that way.
We post discussions and responses and
interact with the people who have come
to our discussions (as you have done)
and then it becomes a real conversation.
And, everyone is happy.
Thanks for the lively chatter.
It was fun responding to your discussion.

I'm very happy that you can understand what i mean ...
And i don't want to be mean or bad at all, just saw today a situation and wanted to share my anger of that, because that way - it's not fair.
I understood how this forum works when i started to feel people here like friends and a part of my life.

I feel the same way.
I've been on Mylot for many years.
But, this past two years, we moved
to a new home and I lost touch with
all my dear Mylot friends.
I was very sad over the situation.
Just this past month I was able to return
to Mylot and it felt like a real home coming.

Hi sugar....
There are some mylotters who are using mylot as a garbage of their bizarre thoughts. So no need to think about it and spend your valuable time. I have also started several discussions on this type of mylotters... but all are in vain... they can't change themselves... so let them do as their wish no need to give a look on what are they doing. Smile and add your thoughts on interesting discussions.
Have a nice day.

Thanks about your advices Shibham, actually i feel much better when i know that it's not only me who is pissed off sometimes because of that. I don't pay so much attention to this mylotters now and i continue my writing, as well, without reading their discussions. I could see that nothing change, they are doing the same and the same - yesterday i saw the same situation with an other person, who did it.
But when i know it doesn't bother only me, i feel better.
Nice day to you too, my friend

maybe they believe it is how they get to earn money fast. i am not really affected as to how many discussions a mylotter does in a day. i am on to discussions that i could relate to and that is interesting. if a mylotter posted four discussion in a row and i find them all interesting, then that would merit a response for each from me.
if the admin has a particular policy on the number of discussions to post in a day and it was not followed, then these mylotters have to be warned, but advised first.
just my 2 cents.

Cents are something good, but i learned something here - if you just write, because you have nothing else to do, without putting your own opinion, interest and passion in the discussions, you won't have success.
Respect for the people around costs more than 2 cents, 2 dollars, even 2 thousand dollars, so ...

I don't really like it either, but if they want to post discussions, then they should be kind enough to post comments back to the responses they receive. That is the point that when they post one discussion after another, they just can't keep up with them, and I also think they feel that they don't have to comment back as they can make money just from the responses. They haven't read the faq's and guidelines, whi8ch says that if they want to earn they need to comment back, as they only earn for what they do, and not what others do. I think in time, those users will come to the realization that they should comment back if they want to earn. I do agree with you though, that it is annoying, but also, I won't respond to ones like that, as most of the time, they aren't all that interesting anyway, as I know they are just here to earn and not learn a thing. So sad, but until they learn hhat mylot is all about, it will continue to happen, and more than likely the discussions will get deleted as well. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Thanks about the luck and the happy mylotting you wished me
The most bad moment for me, as i said earlier, is that i miss interesting discussions. Of course, nobody is guilty because i don't look at the next pages, but usually when i come here, i don't have much time to share with friends and people here. This is why i had to sift too much, to find where is good for me to answer. Totally wasted time.

I don't like to go to an interest and see one person's discussions running down the side. I usually will totally skip those. It doesn't seem like they are interested in staring interesting purposeful discussions when they do that.

Well Suggar, I hope your not talking about me, as I post to 25 discussions a day. But I don't see this as abnormal, because I write with focus and understanding about the subject. Anyone here can post hundreds of posts per day, but in the end quality and effort are what matters. It occurs to me that such awkward responses will be compensated with low figures, and eventually these people will find blogging here useless. I don't remember posting in your discussions, so maybe I'm out of your equation. Its really nice to talk with you about this, but do know that people can contribute to multiple discussions per day. This will in turn raise their compensation, and boost profitability for MyLot. The backbone of their success is members, as each and every one of us are working for the companies profit. Let say you made one dollar. The company is actually benefiting above that amount by having you as a member. In the end, its not so terrible posting in multiple discussions. Hope you the best, when it comes to response, and do enjoy your holidays!

Oh I hope you wouldn't get bothered when all of a sudden I would post several topics in a row. It's because I tend to keep track of the thoughts I have (or topics I think about) when I'm not online. I usually list them down on my phone or a piece of paper and then type them all away when I do get the chance to be online with mylot.
However, I don't think you're actually talking about worthwhile topics. I have notice those discussions too which includes a title and a one-liner in the discussion asking something that is obviously 'common'. I sometimes reply to those when I feel that I have something to talk about. But most of those topics are there to just post for the sake of posting. Those authors aren't even bothering to express their own views on the topic. But well, I guess that's how they create their topics.
I'm just wondering though if they're just bots trying to divert the system of mylot so they'd earn more.

Yesterday i was watching one person, who put 5 or 6 discussions one after other in same section, asking different questions, but the point was similar. And i said myself - WTF, there is so great discussion about the jokes and the pranks and it will run down now, on second page, who will see it that way? At the same time, this 5 or 6 discussions could be done at one or two, but more longer.

I go along time between posting discussions. Most the time I am just commenting on others discussions that they have created. I do not mind if people add a lot of discussions in a row it gives me things to read and leave comments on. What I do is jot down my ideas on paper and then when I get extra time I create the discussions so yes I do this as well where I will create a bunch of discussions in a row. Last night while I was out with my kids eating at a resturant I thought up a lot of discussions so this is the 3rd one I have posted today. I try to comment back to all my responses but I've been a little behind lately so today I have to take time to respond to the comments people have left me on my discussions.

suggar I know what you mean this one poster has done more than that I have seen a least twenty from her but she is not commenting on the ones I responded to. also the last of them got so inane there was no way I could respond.I finally gave up as there are so m any others here that are my friends and if I posted responses to all of hers that means I canot post to anyone else. she is wasting our time and for what? you make little off a discussion unless you keep commenting back. if she thinks for one moment our responses are making her money she is so wrong.we post we get paid, if she comments she gets paid and paid well.

I agree. These people just want to make more money by not responding that's all. I think it's not allowed here as it's considered spamming. I don't know why these people never want to really enjoy the experience here.

Hello
We all can make a lot of discussions in a row - you just have to choose the point of the discussions, and you will always ask yourself and the others different questions. But that's not so successful if we don't give our attention to the people, if we don't understand actually what we mean, we don't check about answers in our discussions and so on. If i have to be honest, i can't create that kind of discussions. My first experience in MyLot showed me that people don't pay attention to those, who just write, to write, not because they want to say or ask something.

*ouch!
hehehe, nah...when i was new here i just kept on posting because i only made use of my minimal time on mylot those times, but i stopped when i realized that my posts were in line. waaaaahhhh!!!!!! didnt have idea that time because i thought it would be impossible for there are many mylotters. but i believe my posts those times were sound because i had a lot of responses.
in my view it is okay as long as the posts are sound and of good quality. i tend to understand that maybe that person has less time to spend on mylot. what i dont like are the repeated posts or stuff i find nonsense. however, i just think maybe it is nonsense to me, but sensible to them and just ignore.

Yes, it's really annoying when one starts so many discussions in one shot. They may have an easy time starting but respondents are the ones having a hard time. Just think, having to face tons of discussions from the very same person? Let's say I have 40* notifications in my inbox, but this particular mylotter starts about 20 new discussions in a day. By time I cleared all his discussions, I'm still left with 30 odd! By that time, I'm already so tired and feel like giving up. If I don't respond, that will give them an excuse of not responding to my started ones too!

I don't wait answers from my friend list, because sometimes they are busy with the real life, other times, probably, they have nothing to say, other times - they may be are not in Mylot for days and i can't be mad at my friends. I hope they are not mad at me too, because i don't check their discussions, but if i see discussion posted by someone i know (it means that i have met him somewhere else, on the pages, in my discussions or like that) i always answer. This is how my eyes remind me that i have met someone and this person has good discussions, so i'll answer him.

Well i have also seen this and i also remember their names but i dont want to disclose them. It really makes me think why he/she doing this and even in the same interest. I mean he/she should start discussions consecutively but in different interents not in the same one. That's really crazy. I never do this. Happy mylotting. Regards, harry.

i understand what you mean... but we can't stop people from doing that since this is a public forum and as long as the person is not violating mylot rules and guidelines, he/she can post any amount of discussions that he/she wants... i know it is a bit rude and annoying... but just ignore it... that's the only thing we can do... take care and have a nice day...

I think it depends on the discussions. Some people write down ideas when they are away from the computer and post them all when they get back online. I don't think that many discussions by the same member in the same category is a problem as long as the discussions are interesting. Yes, one person might "block" the category that way because we can't see discussions from other members on the first page, but as long as the person posts quality discussions (and don't post 10 discussions about the same topic) it doesn't bother me. Some members post lots of polls and one liners, and that is a different situation, I find that annoying, because it makes it harder to find the interesting discussions.

Never thought about that they write discussions somewhere, when they are not here and post them when they are here in a row.
It doesn't matter for me, actually, i will always find something interesting, or just will look at health or cooking and i'm sure i'll find something interesting to write for there. But for me, if a member respect the other members flooding some section is not the best way to show it.

Hello 2004
I'm not judging anyone, but come on ... who likes time wasters?
That's not me. I got not more than one hour for Mylot a day, today it's only answering my discussions, not posting senseless new discussions. If i know that i will have no time to answer the people, who answer me - why to put new once?
