Do you like putting up Christmas decorations?

My girlfriend used to tell me that she was the only one dedicated in fixing the Christmas decorations at their house. I would say she's really great at it, she manages to put up different decorations every year using the same materials. She's very happy experimenting with stuff and manages to create new amazing stuff, she's very resourceful.
Now that she's living with me, she can't do anything. You see, she got pissed by our maid. It all started during the Christmas of 2008, my girlfriend decided to experiment with our furnitures and decided to put up Christmas decorations. I let her do everything she wants because that's her thing. The next day she was shocked to know that our maid changed everything back the way they were. Eversince, she never bother to put up any more decoration, she felt really bad about what happened and she's afraid that if that happens again it might ruin her mood for Christmas.
Sometimes I do miss the creativeness that my girlfriend shows me when it comes with decorations.
How about you, do you like putting up such decorations?

That's too bad, she should have told the helper to put back the decorations she have decorated so the helper won't dare do the same stuff again. Anyway, i love putting up Christmas decorations. The Christmas lights that i place outside our home in our garden and inside the house so the place will really be very bright and i also love putting up the Christmas Tree. It just make me feel like celebrating Christ birth with all these decorations although it is not really the real sense of Christmas. Just this year, i can't put up any because we will be transferring from another house and i don't know the exact date yet.
