How to memorize 50 states in the U.S

Hi everyone, I'm having hard time memorizing the 50 states in the U.S and their capitals because I need to memorize those in order for me to pass the training fundamentals on my new job as a customer service. Can anyone suggest an acronym or something I could use to memorize those in 1 day? I'm a visual type of learner by the way.

try alphabetizing all the states in one list...and try to associate something familiar to you for that state....to make it easier you can use the initials of each state...

I was once had a job that required us to memorize the states of the US as well and know it's capital, but i never had the chance to memorize it because i quit the job! haha.. anyway it's very hard indeed to memorize all of it with the pressure and all with the quality assurance team. Good luck on memorizing it!

Since am not an American, I think this is a very difficult task to do for no good reason!
