Our parents is our first teacher. Before we enter school, they taught us a lot of things. No responsible parents would teach their child on how to do bad things to other people. Our parents have been there before and up to now that we have achieve our dreams, they always support us every time we fall down. Personally the greatest thing my parent taught my siblings and me is to love one another and give care and support until we grow old and build each of our own family. How about you? What is the greatest things you learned from your parents? Why do you say so?

I learned to be well-behaved and serious from them. They taught me to be polite and behave well when getting out and facing people. I remembered they taught me to say "good morning", "thank you" to the others. Also, when I was young, my mum usualy sat next to me while I was doing my homework. She would rub off all my work if I did not do them seriously and nicely. This trained me to be serious while doing my work and to be hard working so as to achieve a high quality of work done.

The greatest thing I learned from my father is loving unconditionally. You might not believe this but I grew up seeing my father being beaten up by my mother always because mother dislikes father's drinking habit. But he never lay a single hand on mother.
The greatest thing I learned from my mother is devotion to God. She would go to church alone walking several kilometers in the dark streets even during heavy rains and floods.
All through the years, they matured and grew up. They are now senior citizens living together in our home in the province in sweetness and harmony. And i am now applying that unconditional to my husband while working out that devotion to God.

Hi
we all love our parents and we do learn many good things from them.
Our persoanlity and attitude is a mirror reflection of parents behavior.
What I learned from them will be a real big list. Some of them are...
Love all
Be affectionate to younger
Respect elders
Respect others opinion
Greet your neighbor
and the list goes on...

I guess the greatest thing that They taught me is to be responsible, especially when it comes to money matters. My parents are very hard-working people and because of their efforts, we are able to live comfortably. And that lesson will remain I me as long as I live.

The greatest think I learned from my parents is motivation, hard work, and effort will help you reach the top. The top was defined as a place where you respected people, and got respect back. Also, they taught me to do good deeds, and never curse or do bad things. The building blocks of my success come from their hard work and dedication to raising me positively. If it weren't for them, such people like me would have less role models. Like they say in Hindu Teachings, Mother, Father, Teacher, and God make the list of revered entities. Those entities are the greatest resources for future success.

I learned how to differentiate right from wrong. From them, they taught me how to spot the devil in every person and taught me to open up my eyes wide when making friends.

Though both my parents have gone with the LORD, I will never forget how they brought us up. The greatest thing I learned from my parents is that I should not rely on somebody if I have the ability to do it. I learned alot from my mother on how to repair some household furnitures. It helped me now that I have my own family. At times I don't need to call somebody to fix or repair because I can do it myself.

I know that my parents are great. We should consider them as our God. They are my role model. They never lead us in a wrong way. Because we are their children. Children are the valuable asset of each parents. If we obey them, we should get lot of blessings from heaven.
The greatest thing that i ever learned from my parents is their helping mentality. They are always ready to help other people who are around them whenever they need help. If it is risk, then also they are ready to help. Really MY PARENTS ARE GREAT!!!!!

Hi
Well apart from taking care of the ones you love, they also showed me how important it is to have a good work ethic.
My father went out to work,my mother worked from home doing sewing and other home based jobs during the day, and in the evening when my father came home she went out and did a couple of domestic jobs.
They worked hard for everything they wanted, and they have never been in debt.
So this is one of the things I learnt from them ..work hard for what you want,so you never need to rely on anyone else for money, you will also feel good knowing you paid for the car etc. by yourself.
Have a great day.

Our parents is the one who mold us in good values. I learned a lot from them. All of us in the family have a solid support to each other. And one thing that I value for all those things is the principle of honesty. For as long as you stand to it, it will lead you the right path of life. And we strongly believe to that.

The greatest thing I have learned from my parents is to find someone who will really love you for who you are. My mother said that and the rest that my father would say are all useless. Of course, I put a lot of meaning on it and I know its my mother's mistake to have chosen my father. I do realize what my mother taught me now and I'm happy she gave that advice for me with all her heart.

The greatest thing I've learned from my parents is to love unconditionally and always be humble no matter how high you've achieve in life. Learn to look back to those people who helped you from were you are now. Never let anyone feel that they are not important to you no matter what status they are. We are all people we live to survive and we die when time comes. Be good to anyone even they are not good to you. Be simple and contented to what you have now. Learn to seek real happiness by limiting your desires rather than attempting to satisfy them.. LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT!...

Hi!
I guess, i must say that all the good qualities i have now, is because of them.
they themselves set up a good example for us/ their children.
They also taught us to live in reality...
if i would list all of the things i have learned from their teachings, i may ran out of space in here.
but the greatest?!.....
maybe its when they taught us to love, respect, and help each other until we grow old, (siblings), no matter happen, and no matter what path we choose. we must protect our family.
