Mylot earnings....

A few months back I was getting a bunch of junk mail in my yahoo inbox...so I decided to delete that account and start a new one but because I hadn't been on mylot as much and didnt recieve a payment in maybe two or three months I didn't even think about changing my paypal email so i could get paid with mylot. Well I made enough to make payout for this month but have not yet recieved my payment and then i realized that I didnt change my paypal email with mylot....and I am sure that is why I havnt been paid yet but I am wondering is there a way to get that payment back?

Payments were made last Friday 12th but ONLY those who had reached payout by 31st October qualified to receive it. Did you reach it by then too?

Yes...I had a payout due to me and I am sure mylot sent it I am just thinking I didnt recieve it because my paypal email was wrong. I tried to go into paypal and see if I could atleast reopen that old account but it comes back like that email is no longer available so I guess I will have to wait and see...Thanks for your response!!

That happened to me once, I changed my e-mail but forgot to change my paypal. Mylot took the payment back from Paypal and put it back into my Mylot account, then I got it the following month. I didn't even have to do anything, it was automatic. I had figured I'd just lose the payment... I'm thankful I didn't. BTW- we did already get our payouts this month.. a couple days ago.

Okay well that would be fine if I had to wait till next month as I dont really do anything with the money I was just hoping that I didn't lose it all together. I will wait for awhile and see if it shows back up into my account and if i don't hear anything than I will contact mylot and/or paypal. Thanks for your response kats!!

I would think you would, or may anyway, have to prove to PayPal tha you didn't get payment if infact it was sent. Then they would resend the money you had comming. If you haven't been paid yet then I would change your email and then write the Mylot administrator and ask if and when you are going to get paid.

so sorry. it says on paypal that the money stays in your account if your bank dont except it. also, i would imagine that mylot keeps the money here in your account if they cant send it to your paypal. so you should have a good deal added up by next payout if you've straightened the matter out now

I never even thought about it when I changed my email...I was going to use this payout for my website which is fine I will just pay for it with own cash but I thought it would be great to use it for something useful LOL If it does get worked out and comes back into mylot I will just build it up more like you said and use it for the following month. Thanks for your response

I would imagine that once paypal realizes that the account has been deleted they will reverse the payment. Then the money should reappear into your mylot account. After that happens, you will probably have to wait until next month to get your payment. However, I would be pretty sure that you will get the money that you have rightfully earned. I've never done this myself, but I know of other people that have done it.

i think you won't lose your earnings as mylot will keep it for you until the next payment... so you don't have to worry too much about it... just make sure that you change your paypal email now so that you can receive your money next month... good luck... take care and have a nice day...

This is probably too late to help you out now... but you can have multiple e-mail addresses connected to 1 PayPal account. So you could attach both your old and new e-mail addresses to the same PayPal account. So if someone (like MyLot) sends your money to your old e-mail address, you'll still get it in the same PayPal account you are currently using!

hi froggieslover not to worry as mylot will keep your payment here for you automatically but you must be sure to always sign in at least before three months are up meantime you can change your paypal email so they can pay you as it will just be added on to whatever you make and you will then get it around the fifteenth of next month. and as you know its all done automatically.

I think I'm doing pretty well when it comes to earning here and I'm trying to post as much as I can every day, I'm trying to hit payout for next month because I really need that money to pay for a book I just ordered. I'm also working hard on some other writing sites to get more money.

Well, that's really sad. This may happen sometimes, thats why i always check my paypal address written here on mylot before the last date of the month so that by any chance the earning of my account do not get transferred to any other account. And i think that's what everyone should do. Anyway i think you should contact mylot and tell them about your problem. Happy mylotting. Regards, harry.

Since payout was on the 12th, then you will have to wait until December to get paid for this month. You only get paid when you have reached payout by the end of the preceding month, otherwise you have to wait until the next month to get paid. I am assuming, you just reached payout, and if you did, then you will have to wait until the middle of December to get paid. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

You have had an up and down activity sessions here, but your work is impressive. 1725 comments is a lot to write, but you've mastered it within a few years. Payment and earnings from MyLot should be the first things you check, as the goal for many writers is earning money. I believe you can report a dispute with MyLot by going through to their contact, questions and resolutions center. Don't start wondering to much about this as it may hurt your work ethic. Lots of honor and hard work can be learned from you, and I think you deserve this payout more than many others. Will check back to see if you've added new top discussions.
