Water from a deep well

My topic maybe concerns to the mother out here or those meticulous in washing their clothes. We just transferred to a new house and water is from a deep well. The longer time I soak white clothes into the water with soap the more it became yellowish, and bleaching to sun directly is a waste of time. So now what I did is directly rinse the clothes and put in washing machine and drops a little chlorine on it. How about you friends do you notice this or does your water came from a deep well or from a water district?

The yellow is from minerals in the water. A good water filter should take care of your problem. Find out which minerals you have in your local water supply and then you can find the proper filter for your well.

We have a deep well in our house now and yes it really makes the clothes yellowish. So what we did was cover the well so mosquitoes won't come out from the well, especially dengue mosquitoes, and we just wash up our clothes in the water from the district. It saves water if we wash if from the well but we can't afford to buy new uniforms and clothes when the yellowish doesn't come off.
