Why is it hard to say "No"?

its difficult to say no for any situation to people as its hurts a person feelings. so if we cant do any help or favor we should reject it in a soft way by saying no we cant in a good way we shouldn't hurt in a harsh manner

I am the same i feel that it is hard to say no to alot of people as well.I always feel like i have to say yes i will, yes i can and anything is yes no matter what they ask of me.I think that i am too soft for my own good at times.

I will also react like you only in such situations. I feel the reason for this is two. 1. May be you are a good hearted person who always willing to do favor to others. 2. May be your prestige and self-respect stops you to say "NO". Sometimes a combined effect of above two reasons may come out which prevents you from saying "NO".

Because most of us don't want to spoil relationship with people around us..and we want to be goodie goodie in everyone's eyes... I consider it a weakness rather than a sign of nobility... I wish I also learn to gather courage to say No to people sometime...

i experience the same things as you experience, thats right its hard to say no, specially if the person asking a favor from you is a person who is special to you, meaning your friends, or may be love ones, I dont think why its hard to say no, your a great person and people around have blessed because youre there to do what favor they can ask from you.

oh yes I do. I'm afraid of making another person angry or putting him down. But there are times I really have to say no I'll run out of resources T_T
