How often do you play your guitar?

I have a classical guitar and I really find it fun and relaxing playing it. However, since I got work, I find it harder and harder to play it or spend time practicing it. How about you? Do you still find time playing your guitar? How?

When I was younger, I played the guitar a lot. I remember we even brought our guitars to school in highschool. But, since mine got destroyed in college, I think, I haven't found a suitable replacement, so it's been a while I haven't played. But, every chance I get, I play the guitar. Like when I visit a friend or visit my brother. They have guitars that rarely get played, so I play them.

Nice to hear you still got to play a guitar. Do you agree that playing the guitar provides some sort of happiness? Maybe you're a good guitar player too? What kind of music do you usually play?

I played Beetles and love songs. I usually sing for my own satisfaction too and not in front of the public.

Yes, it does give you a sense of happiness and contentment when you play the guitar. I'm not really that good. Just an accompaniment when I sing songs, just strumming some chords. I usually play praise songs - songs that I learned when I was just starting to learn to play, and have not forgotten all these years.

Personally i play it for an hour minimum or if i`m really fired up i can play for six hours
But i`m a student and we don`t have much to do :)
Just kidding
And for the " Harder to play it " part i can tell you that i know that feeling and it`s gonna pass just make a brief brake and you will get your motivation back dont force yourself art should be about expression and not about frustration if you`r not inspired take a break it will come back !

Thanks vojislav89. I just hope I get more time to play my guitar. My work is eating too much of my time. I will really have to find time for my playing.

My husband has several guitars and he used to play alot. Now that we have a 2yr old, he only gets to play very late at night or before work in the morning. He really misses playing and has just recently started playing on Sundays to give him more time to practice.

That's good dinimo703074. At least he can still find time to play it. Does he play for a choir group or a band? Playing the guitar really gives balance to a person.

i have a guitar back in the philippines which i consider antique because it has been with me since 5th grade. that was my very first guitar and the same guitar which i used when i was starting to learn playing. now that i have a lot of things t do due to my work , it has been ears since i strummed a guitar. but i have plans to buy my own guitar at the end of this month.
