dlnimo703074 Thank you. I actually found a few beautiful things at some tag sales over the summer that I will be giving her for Christmas. I just feel bad that I can't provide what I want to for her. I am thankful though that I have family to spend the day with :)

dlnimo703074 Good luck to you! I've been unemployed for almost 2 years and have sent in countless applications. Most of my rejections stated I was overqualified for the job!!!! I really hope you get the job, as it will give me hope that I too can get a job :)

dlnimo703074 Yes, that happens a lot to me. ususally when I don't have enought time to shop that's when they have everything i want to look at. On days when i have time to shop, there is nothing I want to look at!

dlnimo703074 I always worked the holiday because I was either working in hospitality or retail. I ususally didn't have the choice, but if given a choice I would have worked. Like you said the money would help my family and no slaving over a hot stove!

dlnimo703074 When I worked in the hotel businees and retail business I always worked the holidays. Most of the time I didn't have the choice but if I did, I would have probably worked anyway. Like you said, the extra money helps the family and no slaving over the stove!

dlnimo703074 I totally agree with you. If they increased the incentives people would not mind serving as much. Like you said, a day of pay for being a juror is pathetic. It amounts to nothing. Imagine how things would change if lawyers and judges had to contribute!
