How to balance a married life,if the wife is earning more than then husband?

Recently,I have heard of so many these type of cases.When wife is earning more than the husband,this can be a big issue in a married life. Maybe from the beginning,the wife can still bear with the imbalance,but sooner or later,the wife will complain,grumble and even look down at the husband. These are most of the consequences. How to balance up this type of married life? What should the wife do? How about the husband? Does he need to do something to change the situation? Please advise.

I must say I don't think I've ever heard o this. I don't see why it should matter which partner makes more money than the other, and I certainly don't understand how a woman would look down on her husband for her own success.
When I was growing up, my mother had a very successful career and my father was an utter layabout. He almost never had a job and would spend her money like it grew on trees. He was also abusively controlling.
