....taken by you to respond to a discussion after you started actually writing it?
Well, generally it is around five to ten minutes that also when we are very touched with the discussusion, otherwise it is a matter of one to two minutes only, isn't it? Well, two or three days earlier when I was in my company cab, returning from office, I read a discussion on hiding our faces from the avtars online. Well, I really liked that topic and started writting the response, when I wain middle of it, my drop point came and I had to get from cab to reach my room(I do nught shift). Well after reaching there I went to bed and fell asleep. It was 6 in the morning. When I woke up it was 2 in the afternoon and when I saw my cellphone, I saw that internet and my half written response was open! Lol, it took 8 hours for me to complete that response.
So, what is your longest time taken?

It takes me longer to finish my responses due to my retarded brain....It seem that I am agnostic about my english writing defects too. My rate could be anywhere between 15 min per response or 5 min only depending on the complexity of the discussion. Just emailing my mother even took me two hours. Need an upgrade soonest.

Oh, with due time your response time will be reduced.
When I atarted working on pc, it used to take around one minute to write even one sentance like ' my name is saurav'. So, from that to now when I have a typing speed of forty words per minute, it only took time.

I keep mine to about 3 minutes. If I can't my point across in that time frame, then I might be blabbering about something that has nothing to do with the topic of discussion. I try to use the KISS method...Keep It Simple Stupid.

Hi, I generally take 5 to 10 minutes to respond. But sometimes due to network connectivity and such issues the response would actually take an hour to send. Even I remember of such an incident where it took me 3 hours to send a response. Actually sometimes it takes time to reply to discussions.

The longest time to respond to a discussion was about two hours. I don't remember exactly what it was about, but it was something philosophical so it took quite some time to think through everything and write it down. But most discussions take about ten minutes to respond to, depending on how long answers I feel like writing.

Hmm, that shows that how you love this site, how dedicated you are to your posts. Good work!
If I tell you how active I was on myLot 2 years ago... I used to do myLot for 4-5 hours and used to post about 50-60 comments every day. One day I did it for 12 hours and could pass 100.

Hi tigeraunt, how are you?
I always think about your username. How did you come to this unique one?
Oh, you know what the limitation with the pc is that if you are going somewhere or going to sleep, you have to shut it down but with cellphones, it can be there untill it gets switched off. That is why I could complete the response despite it took 8 hours

Sometimes i spend more time in responding the answers i've received. At the same time, when i don't have answers to respond them, i check what happens in sections, where i am interested to write, like here, right now.
Most of the day, i am here, cleaning, cooking, but checking what happens around, what people write, how can i respond their discussions. I'm checking whole day if someone respond my discussions, if i see response, i give one back, so the person to feel free to write more, if he/she wants to. For me discussions and responses are not only way to earn, most important for me is the conversation. Sometimes here i make kind of researches, sometimes i share parts of my personal life, sometimes i want to compare how the other people live... So i spend as much time for my own discussions, as it's possible. I read every post and try to respond, even if some posts are similar. This is all about - we pay attention for the others if we and they to pay attention for us.

Yes, the conversation is more important both for earning as well as building relationships. I have made many friends when I was active on this site.
These days I am not that active hence I don't get comments on my responses, and I am tired of my office works also.. so, difficult to answer all the responses I get for my discussion.

Hahaha sanu! That must be a record!
I have never timed myself when responding. I often get involved and keep going back and commenting on the same response too. I don't time myself here at all but i spend any spare time that I have just reading and participating.
Good to see you!

After it took you so long to get it posted, I think best response was the best reward that you could receive for it!
I hope you will be here again for the next hundred too!

Hmmm...I haven't really paid much attention to this before. But there have been a few occasions when I've spent an hour or so trying to respond to a discussion. Those are usually those long and complex ones that take some time to formulate a response. I'd just sit there and stare at the post a bit or I'd open up a different tab and do something else online before coming back to respond.

It may be as long as 12 hours at the outside. If I get ones sent to my email late in the evening I may not answer them until the next afternoon or evening due to my sleeping disorder. I try to answer as many as I can before I go to bed but if I don't then it is probably 8-12 hours before I get back online.

No, that's not what I am saying. I am saying that I get new threads well after I go to bed at night. This is sometimes any where from 4 to 8a. so by the time I get up and answer them it is sometime 8 to 12 hours later. I do turn off my laptop when I go to bed. I am not leaving any threads partially answered at all.

Lol! That is a long time I guess! I have done similar myself like starting a response and then having to attend to my daughter or take her to her dancing lesson. I would estimate the longest I’ve ever left a response half-finished and ‘unattended’ (LOL) has been a couple of hours. It is one of life’s biggest frustrations for me not being able to MyLot without interruptions, some days it takes me eight hours to do five responses, it can be so annoying!

There's a user here who posts long, interesting discussions. I've always liked reading her posts cuz they're all unique and life-specific. There was one discussion of her's that took me about an hour to respond to. I like those kinds of discussions.

Hello my friend sanuanu Ji,
Well, in my case we both are static whilke on computer and have very much peaceful life after our retirement, I am not at all retired, so such a disturb factor never puts me off tyheb track. I start and end may take 5-10 minutes of writing.
May God bless You and have a great time.
