Can you be attracted by a close relative?

I have always wondered if somebody had a gorgeous sister or primary cousin, which was wanted by many, how can the brother resist not to want to get physical with her. I have only a brother and my close cousins are all males, so I am not is such position. I don't know how a person it that position feels.
So what do you think? They feel attraction but control themselves or they don't feel anything like that?

Close relatives are family. We should feel love and compassion for our families. We should not feel attraction for them. There are many kinds of love. We should not try to confuse them and make them what they are not. That just invites problem to your life that are not necessary.@merry22 (23)

I dont think so....brothers dont get attracted to their sisters because they know each other since birth and they might have different interest in life, in psychology, opposite gender are only attracted to each other when they found something interested to each other that they like to explore, but brother and sister used to see each other everyday and that makes them have differ interest...maybe only those maniac and malicious mind practice these intimate attraction to relatives...so far it did'nt work unless they are 3rd degree relation to each other. ..

Even my relatives is very beautiful I won't attracted her because I know that this is not our way although there are some who have evil mind and they permits the evil and make things against the law. I have many beautiful relatives but I didn't attracted them at all. I prefer to attract other girls than my relatives.

Yes, that is true. But if you wouldn't know that it is not allowed to have intimate relations with your relatives, would you feel attracted to them? Please be as honest as you can

Dude that's incest. Close relatives and sisters are disgusting to even see as being an attractive figure.

I don't know how a person looks to the brother/sister, if he/she is another gender, because all my close relatives are males. I have a brother, and my first and secondary cousins are guys, so I don't have who to be attracted to. I am not saying that if I had a gorgeous sister I would be attracted to her, but I cannot be sure. Of course, I would never try to do anything with her, if I had a sister, because it is forbidden by our culture and law.
