me, i dont put lots of food in my plate... it makes me loose my appetite, seeing different variety of food loaded in my plate... as if i cant swallow anymore.
but i knew a friend who always do this, even though he's a boy, i think its not good to practice that manner, as if he's so greedy, and too lazy to put another batch of food in his plate if he still want.
i told him about that, then he just answered its ok, im a boy anyway....
we all know that boys eat a lot, thats why some of them is doing this eating issue manner... but is it really ok?

Nope I do not load my plate all at the same time, I see to it that if ever I need to like in a buffet that different dishes do not get mixed ugh... I'd rather get two separate plates instead. Can't understand how you can appreciate the cooking and which dish is good if they are mixed up like fruit salad lol . Sorry but I think up bringing also plays a part, parang mauubusan ( as if you will run out of food in Tagalog) lol!!!

yeah right, some us think that way.... (parang mauubusan talaga!)
maybe its ok if they are with friends or "barkadas"
but to some very social gatherings i think they must act appropriately specially during eating time... so much embarrasment!
then all they can say is "who cares?!"

I do not put a lot of food on my plate during meal time because it seems like so much to finish. I only put little portions and if I finish it all and want more, I'd go back for seconds but if I don't, I don't.

i am also like you... i also don't like to overload my plate with food as it will make me to lose my appetite... i only take my food sufficiently and if it is not enough, then i will go back to take some more... but i don't like to take too much food at one go... my hubby likes to do that and i had told him many times to no avail... so i just let him do that at home... but when we are eating outside or at other people's place, i will remind him not to do it as it is considered to be rude... take care and have a nice day...

I agree with you that putting too mcuh food in our plate is not good practice. Not even to show a good manners. But sometimes we can do this without notice especially if we are in the mass public celebration i mean if we are in the wedding or any gatherings that is mass and no proper presentation of food service like catering. Sometimes it happened when we are at the public gatherings and at home if we are not in a proper dining table. but we know that doing this shows bad manners if we follow the GMRC. Good manners and right conduct. But still it is okay as long as eatin all and no left over....

For me it depends on how hungry i am. There were times when i just returned from the gym and was so hungry. I filled my plate then with rice and meat. Usually, though, i put just the right amount, or the 'manageable' amount. Lol

I dont like to overload my plate of food when having a meal. If I need food I take again but overloading a food in the plate is not good manner.

Sometimes I do but most of the time I don't though I used to add and add food into my plate that's the reason why I gain more weights.
With regard to your friend, I think it's okay as long as he will consume all so he won't waste anything.

No I do not overload my plate with food. One reason is because I really cannot finish it all up.And another reason being that I do not like to waste food. Also I do not think that boys are big eaters.Once cannot generalize on that.It actually differs from person to person.

I used to, yes, but now that I have to watch my weight, (risk of diabetes) I have to not put much food on my plate. In fact, I use a smaller plate for myself (when it's just me and my family) and when I eat at other people's home, I just nibble at something here and there. I think it's more etitquette to nibble as opposed to gormatising yourself.
My husband is a hearty eater, so he does fill up his plate and goes for thirds,, haha. I admit I'm embarrassed when he does it but well, there's nothing I can do about it, I can't nag, he won't listen, lol.

I try not to put too much on my plate, but sometimes my eyes are larger than my stomach. I hate wasting food so I will force myself to finish what is on my plate. I do not like being super full like that. The only time I don't mind wasting food is when I try something new and I don't like it.

I am too choosy when it comes to food, I just pick those that my mind and my stomach is capable of digesting it. Foods that seem palatable would definitely a priority.

I don't put lots of food too- I just put what I think I am capable of eating.I don't eat much, but i do love desert- I put lots of it in my plate. And when I'm still hungry I just go and get another food.. And yes, boys do eat a lot- it makes me wonder sometimes where their food goes, because some of them are quite skinny.

I don't overload my plate at all. I just put small amounts first and when I'm done and feel like adding more I just add up. I think it's not proper to load your plate with all the food when you won't be able to consume all because it's a waste of food. I eat like a bird when I was young so I was used to putting small amount of food on my plate and never too much.
