I love writing, i know. It is my interest and of course, i want to make money out of it. But i really don't know how or where to start. I have several ideas to write but definitely, it's still locked on me and can't share it because i don't know where. Can anyone give an idea on how to earn money from things i write? Thank you for your thoughts.

Hey I love writing too and I was lost for a while as to where I could go to make some sort of profit from it but I found a great site. Grant it, it does not make you a millionaire but you get credit for the banners on your article and for people looking at that banner and link. So the more interesting your article and writing you get more views and they get more marketing so you get paid. It is a great site pm me for the link or here it is hopefully this won't get deleted as I am telling you where you can write. The link is http://www.wikinut.com/in/ulgfk/ and you can also get credit for people you invite as I am inviting you so whatever they make you get a profit of off as well. I hope this helps and that you use the site. Thanks.

It depends on what you want to do.
I'm a writer at Factoidz and so far it pays me pretty well for writing short snippets of 400 words or so. There are others I know who are writing on places like Bukisa, Helium and numerous others. If you want to join them drop me a note and I'll send you a referral link.
However, if you really want to make money off writing, then I would suggest turning it into a career. I recommend becoming a copywriter or freelance writer if you want to make some serious money. Bear in mind though, you'll need to put in some serious effort too. Good luck!

Greetings vangie26 .
Consider Demand Media: http://www.demandstudios.com/ .
Also available are triond.com, bukisa.com, and associatedcontent.com . These pay in the cents level unless you have a popular article. However, the cents add up after some time.
Also consider letterrep.com.
Demand media pays most, but unless you have a revenue share article, it's a one time deal per article.

I'd start out using Triond or Bukisa for sure. They are the most user friendly sites ever, you can literally get signed up and start writing in less than 5 minutes. You don't need to pay, or have any qualifications or anything; anyone can use those sites.
I just write short little recipes and I make around 40-50 dollars a month with Triond alone now, hoping to get it up to 100 a month by the end of the year :D

Hi Vangie,
I know your longing emotion, but the fact that a lot of well-known writers have their masterpieces is not just only out of making money from the beginning, I think.
If you just write for yourself, the time and the reader will tell the value of your works.
Of course, you might deliver your works to some paper or magazine or something like that as well first. Maybe you will find some person that like your article.

Practice makes things perfect. Join the online writing sites , and keep writing. That would be a good start on your way to become a professional writer. There are a number of sites online, and one of the places to write brief reviews is "Review Stream". You can write brief reviews on a variety of topics, movies, hotels, restaurants, travel, shopping, and so on. Your ideas will certainly be very valuable there.

After reading all the answers, the other members are right, you could try many of the sites you mention. Also, you can publish a book, I don't know what kind of things you like, but if you are a good writer and know how to promote your stuff you'll make some serious money. There are lots of people that make a living just by writing online.
