If I am entitled to have a Christmas bonus, I would love to buy a new mobile phone because my phone is not working anymore. The keypad is no longer working. I would like to buy a latest Nokia brand Mobile phone or a Samsung touch screen. Then the rest of the money from my bonus would be for the feast that we will be having on Christmas eve and Christmas day. But unfortunately I just had my job which started last Monday. I will be having my pro-rated bonus 1/6th of my basic salary.
How about you guys? How would you spend your Christmas bonus?

I never had a 13th month pay or cash bonus because of the nature of my work.. I am self-employed and never got a chance to receive bonuses.. :)
If ever i will get a 13th month pay I will change the paint of my room to something lighter, like yellow or pink or maybe I will have to consult first for a feng shui expert about the lucky color of 2011.

Well that is a nice way to spend it. A real house make-over. I guess I also need to do it in my house but it will take me more than what will I receive for sure. It is good that you have a good way of spending it and you prioritize important things first. Unfortunately you don't have a bonus but then I am pretty sure that your business made a great income this year. You just need to share some of that with your employees. Have a great week ahead.

I need to change my closet because most of what I have right now no longer looks presentable after being flooded last year. I already have a list and on the look for discounted prices of clothes. I still need to calculate things accordingly because Christmas food servings need a bit of those 13th month pay. I also need to set aside more (if I am too lucky) because I am planning to enter the stock market.

I wish I had a job with a christmas bonus, but unfortuately I dont.
I think I would be spending the bonus on a few things which I currently need during my daily life, and the rest would be put away for investments later on, or to pay down a little loan I have gotten from my parents.

Wow! That is surely a nice way to spend the Bonus if you will have one. At least the thought of it counts. God will always provide us whatever we need. He will surely have a way of giving you something for sure. It is good also to prioritize first the daily needs that we should have in our daily lives rather than all the unnecessary things that we just want. Have a great week ahead of you.

Hi dear,
It was my pay hike and bonus on October. The company paid 16% of bonus and 16% increment. Even I had to change my mobile to Sony Ericson Satio (as the one I was using fell in water and got spoiled).
Our Xmas celebrations will start only on the 3rd week of December and will last for till New Year. Hope you are enjoying the new job. Have you got the PDF file that I mailed to you?
Regards,
Thank-s

Thank you so much for sharing a real practical way of spending it. I guess if I will have an extra I will also have to buy things for myself like some new clothes and a pair of shoes. I am sorry I am not able to get the PDF file. I will send my email address to your inbox later on. Thank you so much and have a great week ahead.

That is so nice of you that you still thought of paying your debts and some people that you owe. I hope the ones who owe me much would also be like that as yours. Yes I will agree that the bonus is the extra cash that we make so anything extra with us should go to things that we really need to settle and things that we should have. Thank you so much for the nice response and have a great day.

When I was still working I see to it that I buy something special for myself when I receive my bonus or 13th month. Then, I budget the rest of my money to buy gifts for my loved ones. I also include in my budget some amount to the garbage men and sweeper and save some for the rainy days.

My monthly pay is not that much, but I'll invest a part of my bonus to our cooperative, then buy additional memory for my computer and maybe a new hard disk.

The things with technology nowadays is the fact that they look so good and they do basically everything, but... they do not seem to last that long as there are often problems which really does get annoying. I do like nokia phones, this is what i currently have and they are very reliable, but i know that i will not be getting a christmas bonus and so it is a good job that i don't want that much. If i was to be given a decent amount of money as a christmas bonus then i would put it towards getting myself a new xbox kinect, i think that this is amazing.

In my company, we got 13th month pay in this month. I would like to buy an IPAD. I'm thinking of it since it was intiated. It has a lot of fun on it, not only for the game, but also for surfing on the web and reading ebooks. I like it very much. I want to own one as my new year's present.

We used to get a lump sum at the end of the school year when I taught school. I tried to make larger purchases that I could not manage with my regular monthly paycheck. One year I bought bicycling gear and hiking gear. I bought my first brand new desk top one year and then another year I bought my digital camera. I also tried to pay off some bills, and there was usually some bills that had to be caught up!

Hi,
If I do receive a christmas bonus, then I will save
that money and go for holiday trip one day.
I like travelling so much and I wish to travel
to more countries in future.
Too bad, I am not working at this moment, so no chance to
receive any bonus at all.
How I wish I can go back to working society and earn income
for myself.
