Some time ago I wrote about the house that my husband and I had been looking at. We are interested in buying it and a few days ago we talked to the bank about the house. We need to borrow the money if we want to buy the house, and we were very nervous before the meeting, because they are quite strict and they have said no to us before. But this time they said yes! We couldn't believe it, we were just so happy. We hope to move in the beginning of 2011.
Our families and friends have offered to help us pack and move. They have also offered us furniture and a freezer that they no longer need and free/cheap paint and wallpaper. We are really grateful for all the things that they are doing for us
Which things are you grateful for? What is the nicest thing that a friend or family member did for you this year?

In spite of life's difficulties, we should be at least thankful that we've woke up.

You are right about that. Sometimes when we have a lot of problems and we are going through a very difficult period in our lives, it is easy to forget that there are still things to be grateful for like the fact that we are still alive

I'm grateful for every single moment, minute, day that has been given to me. I'm grateful for having food to eat, family to share happy and sad moments with, friends to tap me on my shoulder whenever i am feeling down, a girlfriend who loves me more than anything.

Things I'm grateful for today, I am still given the opportunity to enjoy a little happiness. A lot of sadness that I have experienced, but I am thankful for granted a little happiness. This was done by my family, they give encouragement to me to live.

I am grateful for the life that God gave me until now and I will continue to thank Him for that. Every prayers I've made it all came true. I've finished 9 units in my masterals degree last summer, I've had the opportunity to visit United Kingdom, I've gained trusting and loyal friends. I've made wrong decisions that I am thankful for because with these wrong actions, I learned and it will be a great of help of me when I'll encounter such problems again.
Well, my friends and family had never leave me. I think, the nicest thing that they've ever done for me this year is the continuing friendship they've offer. ;)

We are ever grateful. God has been kind. As we take things for granted, God's will prevail over us and protects us. He is always blessing us, making our life worth living. so, in return, we must be good and benevolent to our fellow men. Treat every one nice and always be there to lend a helping hand.

Hi Porcospino, I am so happy that things worked out for you. Me, I am grateful for the God-given talents that I have and the increasing opportunities to use them. I am also grateful to my loving parents who nurtured my talents through early years. And my darling wife, so loving, patient and such an inspiration. Last but not least, I am so grateful to have our 3 boys and more especially for how hard they work at school and their chosen sports. Thanks for listening.

I am thankful for my family, my wonderful husband who has been through thick and thin with me by my side. And my 3 daughters and son ages 14,8,5,and 11mths. I am thankful that everyday I get to wake up and thank god for another day that I get to see all there smiling faces, and know that no matter what the day brings I'll have all of them there to get me through it. They are my rock and I don't know what I'd do without them!!!!!!
