Newbies being in the TOP and HOT DISCUSSIONS

Hello Lotters

I haven't really been active for weeks now, but of course, i never get tired of hooking up with mylot because I need to see how my friends here are doing.as usual i guess
But one thing i noticed and impresses me is that some newbies really knows how to make discussions interesting and intriguing at the same time. It's been weeks now, but unfortunately I can't relate to most of them so i am not able to respond. besides, some are just being "response collectors" probably not kneen into commenting in those responses.
of course, it's the veterans job to remind them of that just in case their topics reached the TOP or HOT discussions. *sleepy head

with that, i hope more newbies makes more intriguing and quality discussions.

Newbies have a new approach and they are in full fledge to grab as many attentions and friends as possible .. They all have lotta potential ..Mylot rocks and encourages every one ..

I guess you are right. but for some reason, they're not getting a good reputation unless they stay here long enough. well, it's a good start, am very sure they will mark their place here as one of the best and most interesting mylotters of all time. i hope it does encourage every one here.

Yeah i agree with that, newbies happened to rock myLot these times. Some newbies happened to be on the hot discussions or even top discussions. And for me that's a good thing to hear as well.
More friends in myLot the happier it gets to share discussions and comments.

i have realised that as well recently... i don't really like the term "newbies" and "veterans" here to differentiate (categorise) the mylotters because i think it sounds a bit degrading for the new members while they actually do extremely well here like you say... sometimes the "veterans" can't even perform as well as them... i was never called a "newbie" in the past when i first joined because mylot didn't have the rating and star system yet at that time... so everybody here is equal regardless of when you join... i prefer it to be that way compare to now... take care and have a nice day...

Well, don't worry i didn't start this thing. some one did, i thought it was a normal thing but i guess it could create and cause gaps between lotters. there's already one complaining about lotters whom been here a while imposing rules as a amateur policeman.i guess it's a concern that you yourself talk with other old lotters.

hi letran yes some of the newvbies are really doing so well and haved made some great interesting discussions while others do tweenty five in twenty five minutes,break a lot of rules, and absolutely refuse to learn the rules. oh they are boring.sorry charlie thats not an excuse and I
will no longer help out as you do not heed my advice and did not ask for it. since you are so smart and think you know it all go right ahead newbies as I will not anymore respond to those that willjust be deleted.'
I need my money.those who make so many discussions I notice seldom comment to my responses so here to I will find better safer discussions to respond to.

Hello Hatley,
I am glad they know how to do things around here. but the problem is that they lacked the will to comment back on every single discussion that was made here. . just hope people would lessen violating discussions now since we are obviously growing in this site. i even ignore those who's topics are violation that can lead to deletion.

THey are making an effort. at least give that credit to them. . it's not easy to be at least being too much creative in making discussion. these are few that we are talking about. the rest are just copiers, or plagiarizers.

Hello Mika,
you're right, am glad am seeing these people doing something productive and creativity in their discussions. unlike other newbies that only start topics even though there's already similarly made by other users. i hope more of the innovators makes more good discussions for me to respond to

I'm a newbie, but i could not start any discussions which enhances the quality to attract more members to respond to my discussion.
So, the way which i have implemented is to respond others and make them happy to see that i give my views on others topics..
Whom do u call newbies??

well, i guess those who are registered here quite recently. i have always been aware in you're discussions.but i can tell you that it's a lot better than the others too. you're one of the nice and cool discussions that you made in the past

I've been noticing this too. I think it's AWESOME! It's totally devouring the stereotype that I secretly hold for newbies (OK, OK, it COMES from the truth..) Like noobs starting discussions like "How do I earn on MyLot?", "What's your favorite color?" or even spam discussions with like 1 word in it. So it's nice to see MyLot's attracting a more intellectual, thoughtful, and rule(guidelines)-abiding members!!!
I haven't had a discussion of mine be in TODAYS' TOP... FOREVER! I better start coming up with better ones...

I believe we already had some intellectual discussions back in the past. but the problem is that the mylotters where too intelligent enough to fight into a debate.of course, now it's very disappointing that some are starting same spam messages over and over again. but of course, there are those who start something good and new.

Well, I think it's just part of the excitement that comes along being a newbie in this site. It's exciting to post more discussions, most especially when the discussions that we made would get more than a page of responses. Of course it would be up to the person if he would comment back, or they are as you described "response collectors".
In my case, I had that rush in responding to a lot of discussions. I would have a personal quota and would reach it everyday. But I was also trying to get to all the milestones. Then my goal was to get into the Digest or be on the Top Discussions list.LOL
That's just me anyway.^_^
I say give it a few months. Offline life would catch up to them. Still is nice to read about bubbly newbies giving their all to participate in this community.

I have not been so active here too this week. I hope I will be able to reach the minimum payout until the end of the month though. It is really not because of the pay here that I am here in Mylot but then I am making the most out of it here as well so might as well just reach the pay out and at the same time enjoy being here. I am still coping up with the posting of comments to the responses from my previous topics. Have a great weekend.

I have already reached the pay out this Month. but not as high as i thought it would be. am not always active. because if i am then i wouldn't have this pay out that is so low tonight. for now, am just considering myself being active in some other phases. and other sites too but i have reached pay out here so that's good.have a great weekdays
