With the upcoming Holidays, I am wondering why people with different religions can't live together in peace in this planet. We only have one planet and we are not going anywhere. There was just a news this week that a Somali-born guy wanted to blow-up a Christmas tree lighting tradition in Portland. It is good that he was stopped before he was able to do it. But what is sad is he wants to destroy families, and happiness. I wonder if that is what his religion is teaching him. What do you think?

We are all people with a lot of common interests. Our faith can bring us together even if what we believe is different. If we would only give each other a chance, I see no reasons why Christians and Muslims could not live together in peace.

Religion should teach greater and nobler values of life. In the name of religion, many people are trying to destroy the principle of universal love and other humanitarian values of life. Promotion of peace, tolerance and unity should be the cornerstone of each religion.A religious person,in the true sense, devotes his life for promotion of universal love, harmony and peace everywhere.

Of course, there are some examples of that all around the world, but the media mostly focuses on negative things I think. I think we will all learn how to do it in the end, but sadly, it looks like it could take a while...
