Holiday movies

I love the holidays, and I especially love watching holiday movies. From Thanksgiving until Christmas we get to enjoy "Twenty five days of Christmas" and I get to watch holiday movies that I have not previously seen for some reason or another. Last night I was able to watch a beautiful Christmas movie on the Hallmark channel: Mistletoe and Magic. I love seeing movies like this, that focus on the simplicity of the holiday. What is your favorite holiday movie and why?

My two favorite Christmas movies since I was a kid has always been "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York". I'm not referring to that live action version either. The cartoon, even though it might be outdated looking and corny has always been one of the best. The story is simple and great for children. But it is to be expected since it is based on Dr. Seuss's work. And Home Alone 2 is my favorite out of the three movies. The movie is very funny and cute.

I love watching holiday movies too. I haven't started watching them 'cause I was hoping to have a movie marathon of a few Christmas movies I loved to watch. Four Christmases is also a great movie to watch during the holiday season. I'm still looking for some more movies I can watch soon.
