LOTTO Issue: Please Some body win this THING! :D

Yeah i wish ill win that kind of money. after the verrryy long line that i just went to. And I bet my 200 pesos i reall wish ill win that.

If I give you the winning numbers, can you play them for me - or must I be resident there to be able to win, uhm play?

It was my first time to take a bet a while ago. Last week or even last last week, my bf had been betting. He made a premise convincing me to make a bet. He said, perhaps the destined person to win the prize has not yet make a bet. He said that "lotto" is not just a game of chance, someone is meant or destined to win it. My bf had a point on that. Even when the prize had reached 500 Million, I always joke on my bf giving numbers and telling him to make a bet for me and I will just send him the numbers, since he goes to the lotto outlet after his work. But, I never sent him my numbers bet. A while ago though, when I had to get or pick up the laundry which is supposed to be my bf who would be picking it up, but since he went home in Nova, I have to be the one picking it up. So, when I was there, beside the shop is a "lotto" outlet, so I had to take my bet. It was a nice experience. Well, there's no long line which I guess a nice one because if it had a long line, I won't dare to take and wait. I just hope and pray that I am meant to be a winner and so do you...We will WIN IT!!! I claim to win it!!!

People are generally drawn to this game of chance. Nevermind about the rich people who gamble away their money in the hope of getting richer but for those wage earners who are on tight budgets, investing in lotto where the chances of winning is one in a zillion is taking away a big chunk of their earnings which could have been utilized for better use. But again lady luck can strike on anyone and this is something every punther is hopeful. It happened here recently when the $40 million lotto was won by a farmer and according to the news report this farmer kept buying $20 of lucky pick every week for the past one year and in the end his lady luck finally smiled at him.

To avoid the lines, I usually bet for 6 draws with the same numbers. I keep one two sets of numbers that I bet on all the time. It is estimated to breach 700 million in tonights draw. Check out a discussion I am starting about this as well.

As the PCSO announce that there is a winner in that particular prize. I think people should believe on it because as they watch on TV the draw is going on..and winner is proclaimed

Better luck next time LK, someone has already won the jackpot. I think a fellow mylotter said that the lucky person is from olongapo. I hope it's not GMA or FG mike as some speculated. Coincidentally, they are now residing near Olongapo.

I too did bet on Lotto when i knew that the jackpot reached 600million plus already. Unfortunately i wasn't able to bet last monday and knew on Tuesday morning that the jackpot for 6/55 which was 700 million plus was already won by just one person. Now i think i won't be aiming for the 700million jackpot, i will be betting even if the jackpot only reaches even 1 million or so. 1 million is already a big amount of money and if i bet maybe, who knows maybe i will be the lucky winner. It is fun really, waiting for 9pm for the draw to be televised and wishing your numbers to come out..hahah. It's fun although sometimes i feel like im wasting money. Lotto fever. I am familiar with it , I hope you win - even if not the jackpot .It's a really big sum of money that could change someone's life for better and could make them capable of reaching their dreams. Lotto is a hope for people , who want to be rich , but do not have to be born wealthy , and don't want to scam others to succed. Good luck ,and may numbers be with you .

I too had my bet awhile ago! 700 plus million is a lot and almost everyone I knew are getting crazy with this 6/55 lottery. But anyways,I had watched the news and according to the newscaster to be able to win the lotto there is 28 million plus combinations so that means for one to win he or she will need 570 million pesos.

hi LK, when the winning price came to about 500M i got excited and so i had my bet on two 6 combination numbers. i know i am never lucky when it comes to things like this but still i tried. two saturdays i went to bet but am just not lucky and i felt i am wasting my money when i could have used it already to buy my medicines. now i can only wish luck to you because i didnt bet anymore. If I were to bet, which is unlikely because I am no gambler, I would put 1 6 22 23 27 28. Advise me if I my numbers come out. I would feel very ecstatic because that would mean I am psychic. But no, lotto won't make this country a better nation. It is only deviating the people from doing their best. It is also making the people believe wrongly in false hopes. In truth, lotto is actually getting the people's money....

Hi, Knight.:) I do not play lotto, though I know how to. Not that I am against it but it is because I find it inconvenient on my part. The nearest lotto outlet that I knew of near my place is in SM North. :( But I am hundred percent sure that my father and bro place their bets almost every day. I'm crossing my fingers that the pot money will soon be won not by a single person but at least two or three. If there's only one lucky winner of the half billion amount, his/her life will go crazy not knowing how to handle and deal with that so much money.:)

Actually, it's easy to rig the game and it happens after the draw. It is done by whoever has control of the computer system. Frankly, it's only a matter of issuing a ticket for the winning numbers when there is no winner. So, lawmakers who may be in the "deal" can be paid off using a legitimate source. Anyway, last Saturday while queuing for the betting window, I talked to another bettor who narrated about jackpots being won easily in the past under previous administrations. It must be a conspiracy theory or something, but like any theory, it has a some truth in it.

And I hope that somebody is ME! Raffle draw again tonight, I am crossing my fingers here! Lol!
