Hi everyone . I am new to Mylot . I have been using this site only for the past one week and have earned a few cents here . But still I have not understood many things . I couldn't get a complete answer for my questions even from the FAQ's and TOS . So I want to get answers for my questions through this discussion . Firstly can anyone tell me will I receive any money for the discussions I create and if I comment in it ? Also I want to know if you receive equal money for responding to a discussion and commenting in a discussion ? Secondly I have noticed that mostly people are not posting any kind of links in the discussions . Is it prohibited to post links in discussions ? If so what will happen if I post any kind of link ? Will I get penalized or banned ? Also I expect other newbie people to take part in this discussion and ask all their queries , so that it may help many people like me .

To avoid spamming, coppy-paste is not allowed until a user reach the 500 posts limit. As a new user you have other limitations, too. It was a discussion today about this limitations in myLot. To sumarize them: - when you reach 100 posts you can start rating other users activity - when you reach 200 posts you can start using the emoticons - when you reach 500 posts you can use the copy-paste function and you can start uploading pictures into your comments. (I hope I didn't forget anything)

Oh okay thank you . One more thing . Yesterday i uploaded a new picture in my interests . In my earnings today , apart from participation , I earned a cent in the rewards column . Is that for uploading that picture or for anything else ? Is it a standard rate of 1 cent for uploading a picture to our interests ? And will we receive any money for uploading pictures to our photos section , and by commenting on other people's photos ?

well, for your first question, i can't be sure if we actially get the same amount of money for creating discussions and commenting on them... but one thing i can be sure of is, we get paid for them... i'm just not sure of the amount because mylot has their own algorithm to calculate the payment... for your second question, we are definitely not allowed to post any kind of links here... otherwise your account can get deleted or banned as it is against the TOS... take care and have a nice day...
