As a child, I waatched a lot of Yogi Bear cartoons and loved them. I just seen a preview of a new movie coming out this year that is Yogi Bear. Of course it is not the original Yogi character but I will probably see it when it comes on video. Would you go to watch it? Do you think it will be as good as the original Yogi cartoons?

No, I will not be going to see this movie.
Yogi Bear was not one of my favorites as a kid.
Since it;s a cartoon...it's a no-go.

I saw the poster to that at the theater. "Yogi Bear" huh? I guess Hollywood is truly out of ideas. I mean they made a movie out of Facebook, now "Battleship" and "Yogi Bear"? WTF?????? I should start writing a script for a Kleenex Tissues movie, hey you never know!

Like ALvin and the Chipmunks- Yogi is a perfect character to make a movie out of. I just wish they would make it a little more like the original show.

I didn't see very many Yogi Bear cartoons when I was a kid, but I know I didn't like them very much. Every time the trailer for the new movie comes on I want to groan. I just want to scream, "Why must this exist?!?!?" but then everyone in the theater would be mad at me.
No, I won't be seeing it. Not in theaters, not on video, and not ever!

He seemed kinda dumb to me despite being "smarter than the average bear". There are some cartoons that I get that feeling from... like they're way too juvenile for growing kids to continue to enjoy them. (I think the best children's books, shows, movies, etc. are the ones that anyone of any age can enjoy.) But I was the kid who would rather read books than watch TV and I thought Sponge Bob killed brain cells when I was ten.

Yogi Bear is awesome, and I too use to watch the Yogi Bear cartoon. Boo Boo was always so cute, and the fact that Yogi always outsmarted the Ranger was pretty cool. Yes, I would go and see this movie, and I would love to introduce my kids to the characters.

My daughter loves to watch the cartoon with me so I am sure that she will like the movie even though I am sure it won't be the same.
