Why do we hurt people we love?

Because life tends to go on whether we love people or not. We can love someone dearly but not necessarily like how they act. And, like me, sometimes we find the guts to tell them how you really feel. And it also seems that people who have siblings always have some long seated problem from childhood. It festers and then comes out when we least expect it to.

I think life is too short not to show our feelings.

We don't always tend to help people, we have our own interests too. Just take medieval Europe or Three Kingdoms of China or Korea, everything was bloody and it didn't matter if you were family or not, you are a threat somehow to their personal interests so they will try to get rid of you. It isn't so different now but instead of politics and warfare it's mostly social.

Personally even though we do not mean it there are times in ones life where a situation might happen, especially if one is under some stress that something will happen, or be said and someone will react and take it wrong, and say something they often will regret.
The Best thing though is to try and not say anything too damaging to where they will never want to Trust and be around you again which is hard. But when you can also learn to be man and woman enough to apologize it helps the whole situation more for sure.

ajithlal because for some dumb reason when we love and are loved we expect our own loved ones to be the best, and because they are human they fall short so we scold or nag when we should not do any of that.We are humans too and not perfect either.so we should not expect more of our loved ones than we do of ourselves.

I think we often hurt our loved ones unintentionally. We might say or do something that hurts their feelings, without even realizing that we were being so hurtful. If we hurt someone we love, we should apologize and let them know that didn't we really didn't mean to hurt their feelings. In this instance, I am not discussing abusive and controlling people. I am merely discussing people that truly love and care about us.
