Hey there everyone! Happy Holidays to everyone: Happy Hanakah, Happy Kwaanza, Merry Christmas! I am in the Christmas spirit this year and I am happy about it. Last year I wasn't because I was about to move and I didn't even have a tree. There was no sign of Christmas in my house but this year there will be. I am on the 3rd floor and I have a large window so I want to have a nice tree in front of it.
I mainly want to do it for my boys because they didn't have a nice Christmas last year. As far as gifts are concerned, I might not be able to get them what they want but I will try.
Are you ready for the holidays? I pray so. God bless! : )

Well, Happy holidays to you too!! I think it's awesome that you are in such great spirits about christmas this year. And a new place to celebrate all that caring. I can't think of anything prettier than a beautiful Christmas tree in front of a big picture window. I wouldn't worry about the gifts to much, and if you really want to make the day a special one for your family...get out the hot chocolate, peppermint sticks, maybe a new board game and have some wonderful family time!!
Yes, bring on the holidays :)

Dear friend,
Not yet in full spirit, but in a starting spirit. The lighting and other functions in our local areas will start from next week onwards, may be it may last till first month of January. Those decorations have already been started. An advance merry Christmas and best wishes.........

Hi Linda! I'm not quite ready for Christmas yet, but I'm getting
there! I have to start doing my Christmas shopping, but I
dread it so. My bf is so fussy and shopping for him is such
a nightmare. He only wants certain things, certain brands, and
he is such a pain to shop for! Whatever I get him he doesn't
really like so I just hate shopping for him. It takes all the
fun out of everything! And I really can't afford to get much
to begin with. I have to get going or I am going to end up
rushing around as always!

I am so ready for the holidays! Most people I talk do are not ready for it, but I for sure am! I only have a couple of small gifts left on my to-buy list but besides that I am so ready. We never really have a lavish Christmas (like some families do) in my family just because none of us really have any money..But we buy small gifts for each other and play games, eat, and spend time together, and that's essentially what makes it fun!

Hi,
Having a christmas tree in front of your house..that is
a great idea and I believe your boys must be very happy to see such nice
christmas tree outside the house.
For me, no holiday plan for this year christmas.
Probably will stay at home and rest well.
Wish you Merry christmas in advance!!

Happy Holidays to you Linda!! I agree with you of having Christmas tree in your house because it reminds us that Christmas is really near, the time of sharing and giving. With regards to your gifts it doesn't matter how expensive it is or its not what they want,It's the thought that counts. Godbless!:P

Hi Linda
Glad to hear you'll be having a better Christmas than last year. I haven't started my shopping yet but I am done with my inside decorations I did that 3 days after Thanksgiving.
As for presents there will be some but we are on a family budget and I am not going to go overboard for the sake of Christmas shopping because there is life after Christmas I'll be using all cash this year no credit cards I don't want the revolving debt.

When my boys were young we didn't have much. It's hard to be merry and bright when you're broke. For the last 11 years our holiday season was much better. The celebrating will be on a much smaller scale but much more merry. Happy holidays.
