Would you like to have a lazy day?

What do you think of the idea of taking a mental health day-a 'lazy day'? This means taking a day off from work, or from whatever your usual busy routine is, and just hang around in your pajamas all day-doing basically nothing. What do you think of this? To me, although this might sound great at first, i know it would be very depressing for me. I feel much better when i get dressed in the morning. I also feel much better when I am busy with something. What do you think?

Dear friend, No day is lazy for me, it was during my colleges days, but now even holidays are full or something to do. I spend time on browsing if I get lazy, or just watch some movies. There is some thing for me scrap upon.

Sounds good to me-but don't you ever feel like lying in bed and doing nothing? Maybe even for just an hour?

Yea! Who doesn't want a day off from busy office work or school work? If given a chance, I'd rather stay at home, turn on the jazz and take a nap, or go to Mylot and work, lol. But lazy days are meant to last for just one day. Being lazy for too long may just become a bad habit and you won't be able to do things fast and on the dot.

I guess that's true. But better to spend the day doing something you like, rather than doing nothing which is boring.

I've been lazy for a while now and would love to start my job. It'll start next month and I've been waiting like forever. It's not good to get lazy for too long. It really sucks. It's better to be busy and get lazy from time to time.

Well maybe it's different if you are taking some lazy days before you start a new job.

No, laziness is not a manner of a people to have. Lazy people have no bright future, always dark. Nothing happened his life. Anyways, we can take a relax or rest ourself in a day or two, its up to us. We are very free to do that. But time is gold so we must do more for having the best of everything for our future.

Yes, well i agree that nobody should be lazy all their life. The question is if it's good to take one lazy day off.

I love a lazy day. After all this work I love to just go blank for a whole day. It is boring but really relaxing.

I don't think i can stand being bored and blanking out a whole day. I actually had some days like that when my back went out on me. I was in bed all day-i could hardly even make it to the bathroom. I was going completely stir crazy.

I think most people would like this, although Im kind of having an enforced lazy day right now, I can't go to work because the snow on my street is too bad for me to leave, and nobody lives near me so I can't get a lift either, so Im stuck in the house, I have got dressed because I was expecting to go to work today, but I am doing basically nothing, watching TV, figuring out what to eat, I seem to be more hungry today even though Im doing anything, probably just boredom. Im so glad I stocked the fridge up before the snow got bad!

I see i picked a good day for you for me to start this discussion! Perhaps try to do something fun instead of doing nothing. Uh, like maybe posting on Mylot?? How 'but make a list of fun things to do around the house. If you're creative, you can try writing or painting.

You are supposed to do this once a week. This really helps if you are stressed. Work like a mule the other 6 days but that 7th do nothing. You would be surprised how much more you can get done, rested. I can do more in 6days than the 7.

I would love to have a lazy day! Nothing to do and all day to do it would be great! The only problem with that is nothing would ever get done!
