Lots of my friends or facebook users have changed their profile pictures and invited me to do the same. From the invitation it says it's for a cause-
"A Campaign to End Violence Against Children- Childhood Cartoon Faces" By doing this, we can help to increase the awareness that might stop the suffering of so many abused children nowadays.
Have you changed your photo? Who was your favorite cartoon character when you're still a kid? Why? One of my favorite is the looney tunes characters, they can make me giggle and they are cute.
Time to let them know, are you in for this mission? ^_^

I did change my profile picture. I guess there's nothing wrong when you do it, unless you really like what current picture is. Anyways, looking back into memories through childhood cartoon characters looks fun to me. That's why I joined. It brings back memories when I was a kid. My favorite character was from a japan cartoon which is Cardcaptor Sakura. But it was not the main character but the bestfriend of the main character which Tomoyo Daidouji. :)

Hi dear,
I am not so frequent with my facebook location and it is no so active. Even though which has many good things, I din't find so thrilling on facebook. Also, keeping our own photo has its own dignity. facebook itself holds the purpose of the same. Mainly because of that reason, I don't prefer to change my main front page photo, what I have already posted.
As a subordinate subject, we can keep as many photos and symbolic pictures and keep things for a cause which may help other so involve more creative and bothered.
Thank-s

I already did...at first I had no idea about this campaign, and I was like: "Why is everybody's profile pic a cartoon?" And then I read a post about the Anti-violence against children.
I changed mine to an anime...sailor moon. Its my favorite anime before, I would never missed an episode of that.

I saw my brother and most of our youth friends changed their photo into their favorite cartoon character as it was stated before Dec. 6 to campaign against child abuse or violence against a child.
I was really happy to see almost 50% of my friends changed their profile pictures into their favorite cartoon character. It was fun though some can never understand an invitation seriously, anyway to each its own.
I got mine changed into courage the cowardly dog since most of my friends were Spongebob already.I'm seeing Walt Disney characters as well as Looney Tunes.

I have not changed mine as I already have a nice profile pic of my boyfriend dressed in costumes, so that cartoon enough for me. I see where many contribute by doing the changes, but I am one that donates a great deal of my time and money to The Ronald McDonald Children Charities.
Now that is contributing no??

No i didnt change my picture. Only because I get a lot of these requests and think its unfair for me to pick one over the others.
My favourite character as a kid was probably tom the cat from Tom and Jerry. He was just so unlucky, and i always like the underdog!

I have never changed my profile picture on facebook to support any type of cause. I think its a nice idea but to me I'd rather see a picture of my friends faces or whatever so I can regonize them without have to read there name next to the photo. Back a few months a little girl locally was dying of cancer. Everyone changed there profile picture kind of as a prayer to her. While I did say a silent prayer for her I was one of the few who chose not to change my profile picture.

Yes, I changed my avatar on facebook. I found a picture I liked of Wonder Woman with Batgirl and Supergirl and chose that one. I liked them because they were strong female characters during a time when females were mostly the victims who the men saved.

Yup! I changed my profile picture two days ago. I actually wanted to change my picture at once when I first learned about the campaign but I couldn't decide which carton character to use for I have a lot of favorite! Then at last, I decided to use Bulma from Dragon ball Z. :)

I recieved this message in my inbox from a friend saying to change my picture. But in the message I was sent it was about cancer not about ending violence. Strange.
