I'm trying to figure out how to stop from getting new discussions sent to my email. I'm going away next week and don't want to get flooded with emails. I know I can turn off notifications for getting responses but don't know about the emails. Can anyone help?

Well, depending on how many friends that you have, it could take you quite some time to turn off all of your new discussion notifications. The only way that I've found that the only way that I am able to turn off the notifications of discussions that my friends have started is to go through each of my friends and manually turn off the notifications from each of my friends. There might be an easier way to do it, but I've not been able to figure it out yet.

Set-up filters and folders so messages from Mylot, go to a Mylot folder. I got about 20 such filters on my E-mail account, really helps finding things later easy.

just go to your setting on your acount to uncheck all of the information and notification. like me i'll uncheck all of the notification to avoid flooding on my email.

By simply turning it off for each member you are still going to get notifications from any discussions you have replied to so for full turn off of the notifications you need to go to your preference option up above this page and their you can turn them off completely. Have a great time while you are away, see you when you get back.

I think if you just go turn off notifications on each friend, you have the e mails turned off for all of the notifications, responses and discussions.

I guess u could block everyone but would be a pain to unblock them. Maybe u could tell a bunch of your regulars to hold their e-mails while u are gone. I have had people tell me that when they were going to be gone. Hope u have a good time.
