im on a diet and i decided to eat fruits and vegetables. honestly speaking i am hungry all the time :) so i eat many foods:) but i want to diet and eat only fruits and vegetables. but the problem is i eat "ALOT" of fruits and vegetables a day to full my stomach:( dont you think eating too much fruits and vegetables can cause my diet plan into a failure?do it have a side effects?is it healthy? what yah think?

I think you'll do fine as long as the fruit is fresh and raw and at least some of the vegetables are. If you eat them with cream sauce or something like that, it's not going to help your diet, though! :) The only side effects I can think of may be stomach upset from too much fiber, but your body should get used to that if it happens.

Hi zenjey23! Dieting takes a lot of discipline in food. Yes,if you're on a diet,fruits and vegetables are the best,but I guess it wont affect your diet plan if you eat too much of it since it doesn't have too much carbohydrates and calories to make you fat or big. I'm saying this because we have the same way of dieting plan but did not affect me at all when I ate too much,but then they say each person has a different metabolism so what worked on me may not work on you. But friend,I guess you dont deserve to be hungry always right?

its zenkey not zenjey:) hmm. maybe you`re right if eating too much fruits and veggies didnt make you big or fat maybe on me it will make me big or fat:( but i am trying it:) i will give it 3-4 weeks:) and yeah i dont deserve to be hungry always hehe:)

Oh I'm sorry I mispelled your username! Typographic errors,happens all the time! You can always do the trial and error friend,if eating too much of it will make you big or fat for weeks then do the opposite. Goodluck!

I can understand that it is easy to feel hungry if you are a vegetarian. Although the vegetables play a main role in our diet, but we also need the meats. I think the balanced diet will be better for the health. If you eat vegetables and fruits, it is supposed that you have a healthy diet. But perhaps sometimes you will be short of some minor elements or the nutritions are not enough. Our bones need the milk, meats, animal's bones etc. I like eating vegetables and I also like to eat meats.

zenkey just go a bit easy on starchy veggies like corn and potatoes as
they are really high in calories and calories is what we burn as we metabolize or dont burn learn the calories of each and stay at 1500 total for the day and you will lose but to be healthy and not starvin you must get protein some way, if not lean meat then soy and beans and some rice and corn but go easyon the amounts of rice and corn.like a computet you put calories in and you burm then up or you put junk into your computer and you get junk out. to lose you must use up more calories than you eat so you have a deficit.also watch some fruit is much higher than others in calories like bananas and dates so eat a lot more of the lower caloried ones get yourself a calorie count book
