My breakfast is not complete if i don't finish it by drinking my coffee. It seems my breakfast is not complete without it. Coffee perks up my day.
At home, i am the only one that drinks coffee for breakfast. Once in a while, my husband drinks coffee too, but he puts a generous amount of creamer in it, because he has hyper acidity , so he avoids it. He instead drinks oatmeal - 4 teaspoon of oatmeal and plenty of water. I, myself also has a bowl of oatmeal and slices of bread but i still drink coffee to finish it. Meantime, my in-laws drinks milk for breakfast.
What about you fellow mylotters, are you a coffee or milk drinker at breakfast?

I don't drink coffee. I am a mild insomniac, caffeine disrupts my sleeping pattern. Chocolate is the best for me. I have Chuckie with me in the office (Yes! In the office! LOL!) on most mornings. During weekends, my mom prepares hot choco for me (And yes again! My mom still does that! LOL!).

Tea!!! Good ol' Red Rose tea sweetened with Splenda and loaded with milk. Onnly thing is, I keep on drinking it all day, haha. I also have extra milk in the morning because of my medications, though. My doctor wants me to take vitamins and a couple of presciptions, so I pour extra milk into my cereal bowl, and sip on the side of the bowl for all five pills. (I guess you can tell from that last statement that I hate doing dishes, and drinking from the bowl saves me from having to wash from an extra glass )

Any drink completes our meal and all of us have our individual tastes as to what it will be .
Ha? I have read from a health book that we should down our medications with plain water only. Have you asked your doctor about it ?
Hey, i like your emoticon. Could you teach me how to put some also on my comments?

Hi simplyd.Just up to a few years ago I used to drink soda in the morning. I always wake up thirsty and couldn't get to the frig fast enough to open a coca cola. I don't drink coffee so I got my caffine from the soda as well. Then I went on a health kick and completly changed the way I eat. Soda was one of the first things I omitted from my diet and to my surprise, I lost 15 lbs in 3 weeks just from the soda! Now, I drink water, flavored by crystal light to quench my thirst then drink a cup of hot tea. I was missing the caffine just drinking the water so added the tea and now I can't go without it. I especially like green and/or black tea and am pleased that both have health benefits as well. I've come a long way from the soda days and definitely feel better.

good thing for you, you like green tea. that's better than soda because it has its medicinal effects. i prefer coffee because it's delicious and it's said to an anti-oxidant. It was broadcast before that drinking at least 2 cups a day will benefit the liver. Unfortunately though, i only drink coffee in the morning.

The thing is, when I was still back in my home country, I don't drink coffee in the morning at all. I rarely drink coffee back then but when I came to the UK, I started the habit of drinking coffee everyday. It's probably because it keeps me warm first thing in the morning especially during cold days. I also used to try drinking skimmed or low-fat milk in the morning but when I am in a rush to go to work, I just hurry up with a glass of water after eating my breakfast.

Coffee more or less takes away the richness of what you are eating and it compliments the tastes. Wow ! you really eat a hearty breakfast! That's good.

I now have cornflakes at home so some mornings, I'll pour some amount of cornflakes into a bowl and some milk into it. When I'm not eating cornflakes, I'll make myself a cup of milo, instead of coffee. I don't really like coffee. At most, I drink it during noon times.

I rarely drink coffee for breakfast. Caffeine is just not that good for me at all. It's only when I really need to get perked up do I drink coffee, but other than that I prefer orange juice for breakfast or hot choco.

I do not like the taste of coffee. I would def. say I am a milk drinker at breakfast. Mostly because I eat cerial for breakfast. If I have eggs, toast and bacon I have to have orange juice with it.
