It depends on the type of curl you will get. I have friends who got their hair curled and after like a year, the hair straightens on itself. If you will go to a cheap/bad salon, there are high chances your hair will be damaged.

Hi! I'm planning to get a perm this month too! I've been straight all my life and I only get to curl my hair on special occasions, that's boring. I want a change too, like you. I'm planning to get curls on Tony & Jackey, do you know it? It's a Korean Salon and there are already many branches in Manila. My friends got their perm on Tony&Jacey too. It's actually one of the reasons why I wanna have curls, I envy their curls!

Those with curly hairs are not having a good impression by other.
In my society, we believed that those with curly hairs are not reliable and trustable.
ha! ha! ha! There isn't any proof to support this statement yet.
However, changing hair style very often can make yourself have a new image and fresh look.
The proper hairstyle should be suitable to certain occasion. Hopefully, you are in the right attire and the hairstyle all the while.

When i was little girl, i dreamed to have curly hair. But thanks God i don't have. It looks like i won't look so good with curly hair, as i imagined in the past.
What kind of hairstyle is good for you, only you can decide, because only you know the shape of your face and that's important. It's the same with the colors. Naturally i'm with brown hair, but for so many years i was red, orange, black and i know that black and orange are the best colors for me, because i have brown eyes too.
You can always try to check what will be the result, but if you don't like yourself at the end, it's good if you can change the hairstyle fast.
I got friends with curly hair and i have to say that nearly all of them wants straight hair, because they think it's easier to take care for straight hair. It's not actually like that, because if your hair is thin, brushing is really hard and painful. But sure it is much easier than the messy curly hairs we can have, when we wake up.

I think you should stick with your own hair type. If its straight then you know how to take care of it, if its curly then you know what will activate the curls. You can change your hair style and get a cute cut and work with it that way but changing your hair type is a lot of work. Unless you're willing to stick with it I'd keep the same color and type, just change the style of your hair.

Good Day!
hmmmm, I think you should go for a curly hairstyle because straight hair is common. You'll see a lot of girls with a straight hair. But its funny, girls with curly hair wants their hair to be straightened and some with straight hair wants to be curled? Its your choice but for me you should go for curly. :)

Well I have had both curly and straight hair and I prefer curly most times because if you get a perm it is easier for your hair to curl into different styles. Especially since I have bone straight hair nothing will curl it but a perm so it helped me to get that so I could get nice big romantic curls and stuff. Also you might want to try a new hair cut too I got a pixie cut last year and it was really really cute. Hope you have fun getting your new look and that you find something you like.

Curly hair looks good if it's long. Sometimes it can curl up too far and won't look good. Natural curls look the best, if your hair is naturally curly let it grow out then leave it like that. If not you could always go for the sleek straight hair. My favorite hair straighteners are the Solia and the Sedu, they make your hair so SOFT!

I would like to suggest you to go with curly hair because its Christmas season. It will look more better than straight for this season and also you will be more comfortable with it.

I think that really depends on the person. And no one is ever satisfied with their hair! I have naturally pin-straight hair, and I'd love to have curly hair, but all of my curly-haired friends use a straightener and say they envy me. So I say go with whatever you feel most comfortable with. Maybe ask your stylist how to easily do the other? That way, if you have days when you want to have straight hair because you have curly hair, you can just whip out a straightener and the job is done. (:

I have always had straight hair. it was always hard for me to get it curled. Getting a perm was the only solution. I would be jealous of others who had curly hair. i always thought their hair looked better than mine.

I always love to have a straight hair but mine is a bit wavy so i had it straight. But i got disappointed because my hair started to fall and looked bad after a few months. So i would say you should stick to what you have but change the style. Because if you add chemicals on your hair to have it straight or curl, it can cause damage to your hair and you might feel bad afterwards.

I have this straight hair for almost 26 years now. So, for a change, I keep wishing I could lengthen my hair further because I have it curly in the parlor. D

I prefer straight hair.
hmm, curly hair isn't too bad too. It makes one look much more mature...hehehe.
I like those 'loose' curls at the hair end. It's a very mature-like hairstyle.
In my opinion, straight hair don't look as mature as curly ones. :] Hope you will find one that you like. :D

I think you better look at the size of your face first or the shape before doing that because you might regret it in the long run, plus rebonding or using products to straighen the hair is quite expensive. You can also do a change in image when you cut your hair short. You might want to try that, and by having a hair cut, it is a lot cheaper.
