I saw the movie Airbender this afternoon and I enjoyed it. It's a fantasy movie that kids would go for. Actually, this is the second time I viewed it but still enjoyed it...like a child.
I guess there is still that child in us no matter what our age is who never stop to wonder and fantasize, be amazed, and have fun with the ridiculous.
Don't you think so?

I think that the child in me is still very much alive. Most if not all of the programs that I watch on television, are animation, with a couple of exception. Currently I am watching the Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon and Batman: Brave and the Bold. Both are really good. Still we still think and dream about the wondrous things. Really, I think that people who can't, might be a bit out there and a bit out of touch with who they are. At least in my book.

Hi! Include me in your book coz that's what I believe, too. I've seen the Avengers and will have to look for Batman. Looks promising.
Thanks for your reply. Cheers Megamatt and Merry Christmas.

I have not yet seen this movie or even heard of it. I am all for a good fantasy though, and I have to agree, it is wonderful to dream and hope. Without our dreams and fantasies, we probably wouldn't have achieved as much as what we have. what fun would life be if we couldn't have some fun along the way? :)

Hi buggles! I could not agree with you more. It is through man's fantasies and imagination that we advanced as a human race. Right?
Thanks for your response and have a nice day.

I'm 32 and I still play playdough and watch cartoon on tv. Yes, it's good to keep that child within us. It's called being childlike. Children enjoy simple pleasures in life, and we should do that as well. But we shouldn't be childish, that is making immature decision and it's different from being childlike.

Hi! You hit it with the "simple pleasures in life." This is something that we forgot along the way of growing up and would not hurt to recall now...if only to make life so much fun. And I also agree with you about being child like and not childish.
Thanks for your reply.

Yes I believe so... Actually I have lots of frustrations when I was still a child. And even now that I'm older, I already doing those things and activities. By doing so, I getting over my regrets before when I was still a child like "I hope I did those" or "Why I didn't do that before". I believe that its never too late to do the things that you like so as long as I can, I start doing it now. -)
The cartoons that I love to watch most was anime. I didn't get the chance to watch them always because of school schedule but now, I'm able to download them and watch them anytime that I want. -)

Hi aeisle. Cathching up with fun is better than nothing, right? Yes, it is never too late and you will find it is fun in the process. I do that with my daughter and we end up laughing.
Have fun catching up and thanks for your reply.

Yeah youre right! i strongly agreed!
Sometimes no matter what age you have even your a teenager or an adult there is still a child in your mind and your heart:)
Me as a teenager feels that ive growned up.
But sometimes when bonding with my 10-12 year old cousins i remember those memories when i was like 9years old:)
A human improves his/her characteristics and personality but even though alot of them changed, All the happy memories in your childhood will stay on your mind no matter what:)[just be sure to resist amnesia:)]
And i also agree to you that no matter what is the age or status, we continued fantasizing, being amazed, and wonder about things as life goes on:)
Doing all of those is not ridiculous:) Its just part of our life:)

Hi zenkey! Yes, I sometimes become nostalgic of my happy days as a child and the things I do then that I no longer now...like playing in the rain.
But we still can be like a child every once in a while.
Cheers and welcome to mylot.
