This question is addressed for paypal users. How secured is our money in paypal or in alertpay? Are you putting your money there for a long period before getting it cash out? For how long. I am new to this thing actually, i just used the paypal account of my aunt before and she cash outs her earnings as early as she received it. How about you guys?

Hello prime.
I don't use paypal anymore as they are crappy according to me.
I use alertpay and have no problem with them at all.
I can leave my money there or move it to the bank or whatever.
Secure without any problems.
TATA.

My paypal account isn't verified yet so I don't have any choice but to trust them with my online earnings since I can't cash out until I link my bank account details which is not my priority as of this time. But so far, I haven't encountered any problems with them yet as a matter of fact I was able to purchase a gadget on ebay with my online earnings and it went smoothly.

So you were able to purchase a gadget at ebay? I am trying to purchase one time but they asked me for a credit card so I leave it.

Yes, I was able to purchase at ebay using the money I have in my paypal account. Actually you don't need a credit card in fact ebay should not be requiring you a credit card when you purchase from them since the money will be deducted from your paypal account and not tour credit card. The credit card is needed when you want to verify your paypal account but you don't really need to verify your account if you want to buy from ebay.

So far, recently, I've just linked my bank account with the paypal account and everything's going smoothly. I haven't cashed out anything yet as I'm intending to buy something online. Hmm...in my opinion, Paypal has a very good system, very detailed and user-friendly.

I have not had a single problem since I started using it, years ago. I have a verifies account tied to my credit card and whenever a have enough money to transfer, I do it from my computer. That´s all.
However, they do charge for withdraws, but other Banks have fees for that too.

For over 2 years I have been using Paypal on a regular basis and as yet have never encountered any problems in either making or receiving payments. I have always felt very comfortable using it both from a convenience and security point of view. I have always seen it as a useful buffer between my debit card and current account and as such an extra layer of security. You have to be wary however of not responding to scam e-mails saying that there is a problem with your Paypal account or any other bank account for that matter.

Hi Primeaque,
Paypal service is very good for me as it is quite easy to understand the site. You know that there are sites who accept the payments and send payments through the Paypal. Mylot send you payment through the Paypal. It was easy for me to verify my account in Paypal.
It is very famous and you can get the information about it easily. I am going to use the service to a long time if it doesn't have any problem with me. Thank you and have a nice day ahead.

I have been using paypal for 3 years already. Most of my earnings online are deposited there, I usually wait for the earnings to accumulate before withdrawing. On some instances, I have also use paypal to my online purchases. I never encountered any problem so far. So from my personal experience, paypal is definitely great. and secure.

I have been in paypal for almost 10 years now. I haven't had problems with them since I started my account there. I know others who have. Hackers into the servers and can cause severe problems. Thing is that happens to any website even with the highest security there is some one out there doing there best to try and break it. It is like a hobby they have. I don't like it anymore than anyone else. It does happen even with banks, they are always updating security because everything is on a server somewhere. No different.
Realize though these are not banks, they are Money brokers, the invest in stock to increase their income by using our money, just like banks do. They just don't tell you that.
One bit of advice is don't leave a huge balance in your accounts and then try and pull it all out at once. That is what throws a red flag up in the security of these sites. I pull mine out when my balance gets to a certain point. This way if something does happen I won't loose all that I have been able to accumulate from programs I am working.

Thank you for this, yes, those risk are always there, people who are into stealing sweats from others are always planning for a good timing, so you are right there, all of us should watch out, it happens everywhere, and as you said, even in the most secured place. I am opening my account now so that I can transfer all that I have there in due time. Thank you for this and happy mylotting!

I usually cash out as soon as I have a couple of pounds in there, as much as I trust paypal I do feel a lot safer when the money gets to my bank.

Hello friend, i'm doing the same with my money, i withdraw them at the moment they come. Because i worked near an year with paypal, i know how slow is receiving the money from my paypal account to my bank account. It takes around 5 or 6 days sometimes, because my bank doesn't work in saturday and sunday, so sunday is never day for receiving money from paypal.
If it was easier, like moneybookers has their own debit card connected with the account, i would leave the money longer, but for now, paypal make cards only for England and some other countries, my own is not in the list, so i have to wait them.
It would be really much easier if i had paypal card. That's how i could take the money at the moment, when i receive them from every ATM over the world.

I hope also that paypal would include our country for paypal cards so that it would be much easier for us. I am new to this thing though, I only signed up for paypal few months ago. I use the paypal of my aunt before, but now I decided I have to make my own for future purposes. Thank you.

I currently have over 700 dollars in my paypal and I think it is very secure. I will withdraw the money as I need it. It sucks that you can only withdraw 500 dollars a month because I think that is such a small amount. Anyway, the reason I have so much is because the guy I was subletting from paid me back rent money over paypal.

I am not familiar with how Alertpay works, but I personally love Paypal. I have had an account with them for 3 years now and have never experienced any problems with them. I normally keep my funds there for the future, I have never maintained them for to long, because I normally make online purchases through them instead of using credit cards.
But I have had nothing but positive outcomes from them, I would definitely recommend them.

I find it hard to make a direct purchase here using my paypal account because they normally ask for a credit card... maybe there a few here in our place who accept direct payment from paypal... I am still new to paypal and I am also hoping a good experience there.
