This year it is kind of funny we make the same amount we have in the years past but have really put the clamps on spending since the economy is down. It turns out we have almost twice as much money for Christmas gifts this year. How has it been with you?

Ive probably spent a bit more, as I have bought a lot for my niece, but this year I had money saved up for presents so I havent felt like I have spent a lot of money, simply because I havent been withdrawing it!

it works good when you save money for a specific thing, then you never miss it. We don't really do that and it just worked this year

I resigned from my job so i don't have money besides my savings and i'm not planning to spend those on anything besides gifts. I just hope that i get another job soon.

This is the year where I really had to be a bit creative with what I saved. That way, everything is in place and ready to go by Christmas. The economy does tend to mandate the boosting of the prices in some ways. It is really a domino effect in many ways. There are just many things that is an after effect of the economy. I don't even know what next year will bring but I'm saving for next Christmas before this Christmas, because you never can save too much.

if I am mediocre because I did not like wasting my money both when there is a special day. so there's no meaning if we spend money because it is a wasteful attitude.
