Hello,
Do you belive in not drinking during your meals? That's what my parents kept telling me, I never believed it would help anything though, do you?
Do you drink during your meals? Or after your meals? Perhaps before your meals?
I personally think that it's no problem to drink during your meal, unless you start drinking litres of water...

Normally, I would not drink during a meal. I would have a drink, water, juice, or coffee, after the meal. I would drink during a meal only if I have a congestion in the throat. Otherwise no. Some times, I might keep a bowl of soup alongside and have a few sips.

Hello,
Do you don't dring during your meal because of your habit, or do you have other reasons? Such as "I think it's healthy" or did some doctor tell you it's healthy?
What are your experiences? Is it hard not to drink during a meal?
Greetings,

Well, tell your parents that it is actually bad if you do not drink during eating. Drinking water washes down what you eat helping your stomach digest. Plus, drinking water before meals is good, which reduces your appetite. Hope it helps. Have a good day.

Hmm, I'm not really sure if I got that correct... perhaps I misunderstood you. So you're saying drinking water before a meal is good, because it reduces your appetite, why would that be good?
I'm not trying to get thin or anything, if that's what you're thinking...

I think we should have a drink with every meal.. In the mornings, orange juice or milk, and then then at least water with every other meal. I think it's wise to have a glass of water before each meal, and that way we won't be eating as much. I believe we should drink with our meals, so we have something to wash our food down with :)

Though I've seen other people talking about the fact that you shouldn't drink while you are taking in your food. However, I don't think that it makes any difference at all. In fact, I honestly can't imagine sitting down for a meal without having something to drink while I am eating my dinner or lunch or anything else. I think that the reason that I can't imagine it is because of the fact that I need to sometimes wash down a little bit of the food so to speak.

Haha, you're so right!
I've tried not to drink during a whole meal, such as lunch, it's so hard! But I guess if you keep doing it one day you won't notice any thirst during your meal... Oh well!

Hello friend, i know that from my grand mother, who was always telling me such things. But i eat salty and sour food if it's stew or soup, so i need water to keep eating. I don't know why my granny thought so, but i've heard from her, that drinking water is around half an hour after finishing our meal.

Well, older people are usually really wise and have experienced a lot already, but I think that a lot of older people were taught inconsistences too, so I wouldn't just believe everything I'm told, that's exactly why I'm trying to get more information on this subject.

I've always heard doctors say that you don't have to drink when you're eating... why? don't know, but i prefer to follow what professionals say...

Hmm, I have also heard doctors say this, but never heard a real explanation from a professional, I'm not sure there's so many rumours going around on what is healthy and what's not healthy...
