Personally I cannot see where being Judgemental against someone would have any advantages. I would only think it would have tons of disadvantages for sure. Sure you may not always agree with everyone, and find fault due to the way you believe, but overall that does not mean you are better than they are, and that person is BAD because of color, religion etc. People are people and we just always need to learn to accept and Love them for who they are.

Yes, I agree with you that a human being can be judgmental at times. Did you ever experience that while you're waiting for someone in one place, you can't help but look at the people around you? Then, several ideas about their whereabouts run inside your head. Well, for me, the advantage of being judgmental is you have some idea on other people's personalities. But you don't voice it out without confirming your judgment. You have to verify it first before telling it to them or to other people. Because one of the disadvantages of being judgmental is you will hurt people's feelings especially if your judgment is negative. You have to be very careful in letting your opinions out. Because as we know, people have different vies about different things. We have to take a look at that aspect. Thus, it is a good move if you will keep your judgment to yourself first, then observe the subject to verify your judgment. In that way, you will not hurt anybody emotionally.

I think it's human nature to be somewhat judgmental, even the kindest caring people can be judgmental, but to different degrees. I know I can be judgmental and often. My daughter and I were discussing this earlier this evening.

To be honest I have my opinions of certain people, however I am one to know when to issue them or not. I am not one who intentionally hurts people, as life had given me bumps enough to know the feeling and effects of this.
So unless someone is asking I do hold my reserves.
