has anybody played world of warcraft cataclysm?

I need to know if the game is worth buying.
Please tell me whats the new things on that expansion.
as you know its the recession and I dont know if its worth buying the game now or should i just wait till they put it on sale.
pls review it for me. thanks

I have played World of Warcraft for 6 years, since its release in 2004.
While Cataclysm has taken away completely from Vanilla WoW, where Gnomes started with Dwarves, and Trolls with Orcs, and leveling actually used to be more hcallenging and took more than an hour to get to level 10, some zones will forever be destroyed (Ashenvale, Westfall, etc.), there are some bonuses:
*Flying in Azeroth. This comes at a low price of 250g and allows you to explore more than you ever could.
*New Race/Class combos. Dwarf Mages. Gnome Priests. Tauren Paladins.
*New bonuses to Professions: Archaeology, Alchemy tarot cards, new engineer gadgets to play with!
Plus, if you don't like the changes, you can probably find a private server that hosts Wrath of the Lich King (pre 4.0) or even BC or Vanilla WoW if you want to play that/

Yea! Flying is really awesome, being able to discover stuff you never knew before it was unclocked. The first zone you go to is Mount Hyjal

destroyed? in what way? the graphics looks really nice...although i didnt like the new quests for the low levels...some are kinda dumb.

yeah me too. last time i login to my world of warcraft account was probably 3 months ago which feels like a year already to me. Its a good game but some of the new quest they added in, was way too easy and a little stupid

This game is AMAZING! , the new spells and Abilities are stunning and game play has improved with awesome new quests and gear. The new dungeons have become harder and are more challenging giving a new feeling to World of Warcraft that none of the other expansions offered. My advice is buy it you will fall in love with it.

Save your money i have played wow for many yaers and its the same stuff over and over again. I thought that cataclysm was going to be different but its the same dungeon grinding and pvp system. I actually have just took a break, i have an 85 mage and pally.

thanks for the advice. i haven't bought cataclysm yet because i think its not all that. im probably just going to wait on black saturday to buy it that way it'll be really cheap. i think the new quest they added wasnt that good too, so no rush for me on buying the game.

Yes, i agree with the others. If you are really a big fan and a player for a long time of WoW then you will surely love the expansion. I have been so dying to play WoW again, but i really don't have time to play and the money is worth saving for future use thank just a game.

i think im just gonna wait then...this blackfriday they put burning crusade and wrath of the lich king on sale only $5 and $10 each...so i think i'll wait.

If you are a World of Warcraft fan you will like this, its an expansion in a similar vein to Wrath of the Liche King adding a lot more content to the game. If you played the original vanilla World of Warcraft it is good to see how they have changed all the zones and how the storylines have evolved from them. I might wait a couple of weeks though until the first mad rush to play the expansion calm down though.

i did see the graphics improved and they added new quest for the low level toons. I logged in on dec 6 at 11.50pm...everybody was at the flying trainer...you cant even see the npc anymore coz everybody was jumpin up and down coz they were so excited.
