Supply of interesting topics for discussions.

Well you just met the biggest challenge of mylot. We all face this everyday. I use the world wide news, things that happen to me and my family during the day, items of interest I read, for starters. I keep a list, I also read every response I get from my discussions and that can lead to a new discussion. Blessings

I can't help you with giving you topics for discussion because then I would't have any topics to come up with for discussion. However, I can share with you some of the ways that I come up with topics. Sometimes I will have an email that has a question in it that would make a good discussion and I will save that for later use. Then there are the little things around you that make good matter for discussion as well. If you start to pay attention to these types of things you should never have a problem coming up with a topic for discussion.

As you go through your usual day keep a notepad near by. WHenever you have an idea write it down. If you are online keep a enotepad and use it online. Then when you go to get on Mylot utilize these ideas. If you aren't sure if Mylotters would be interested in a given subject try it out, then next time you will know if this direction is a good one or not. Trial and error. Usually questions about family life, children, how to live frugally or what is funny and charitable are usually good topics.

Hi DoctorDidi. I find things to talk about that I enjoy or don't enjoy about life. I like talking to people about the bible it is nice to know what I am being taught is the real truth about Gods word and I like sharing that part of my life. I have dogs and they give me things to chat about too. I like asking for prayers because you can never go wrong asking for Gods graces in our lives. I like talking about the problems I have with everyone because someone may actually give me answers to my concerns . Talk about what you like or don't like in this life. Hope some of this helps your writers block my friend!

I am also in the same boat as you, but you raised this question, I am thinking, we could raise discussion on the tpics of interests that become news healines now, like wikileak case and paypal and mastercard hacked by kackers etc. Those are current and discussion that affect of all of us regardless of who we are and where we are.

I'm sorry to tell u this, this will be my last time in responding to your started post. U are not in a crisis because u only start new discussions yet refusing to respond at all. As such, i don't see why i should be participating in your post anymore. If u have the time to think of new discussions, why can't u spend some time on responding back? It's too late, i will strike u off my list.

hi didi, there are lot of topics to create discussions in mylot,when ever you post any thing see that it must be more than 50 words or more than 3 lines maintain that thing they you will get earnings,mylot will not pay any thing if it is less than the above criteria,so when ever i started response or discussion i stretch the subject to more than 3 lines,have a nice day

So you are hitting a dry spell? No bug deal! until you can come up with more ideas for questions to use on Mylot surf the Mylot discussions and rely to as many as you want! That can help with ideas! What I do is just keep my mind to thinking and to be award of what is going on. That helps me creat discussions. So does some things that happen to me in the past or things are are going to be happening, for examples! Good luck and Happy Mylotting!

Haha, when I am bored at work, or when something inspires me, I write it down in a Notepad App I have on my phone - to keep track of things. That's why when I start discussions, I usually start about 10 of them at the time - because they are ideas I had throughout the week. When I'm at work, hear something on the news, have a conversation with a customer or co-worker, something happens that's weird or thought-provoking in my life, when I'm flipping through magazines..Everything in life is a source of inspiration. Lol. To MyLot, and to writing in general. But I do experience writer's block.. even though that's silly. (Maybe we should call it "discussion block" or something to that effect), in which case, you could at least respond to other's discussions, and perhaps get some ideas from other people's discussions. Sometimes it also helps to get away from the computer - especially with just writing in general..And go do something else and take a little break from things. Haha, but good luck getting through your writers block! I hope the flow of discussion ideas comes quickly for you. lol

The responses are good ones above. I can also suggest that you respond to other members discussions. You may find that after replying to a few you may be inspired to start one based on a similar circumstance. Take time sometimes to respond to other discussions would be my best suggestion.

Hello DoctorDidi, my discussions are with topics from my experience in my daily stuff or experience here. Sometimes i watch someone's behavior and just say myself - hmmm ... that's interesting, let me ask the others, what they think about it?

that is also my problem. I cant think of what are the most interesting topic to start for a discussion in order to get many response. I think the best topic is that topics that are common in our living so that all of the mylotters can relate it and respond it immediately. Unusual events which can also catch attention is also a good topic to started.

Well most of us sadly reach that everyday you just have to tink of interesting topics and also get lots of interests so that then you wont miss out on any questions that you could answer and the more questions you answer meens the more money you make.This is all i do is get a lot of interests that i enjoy and just wait for a discussion that i like too pop up.I find the questions and answers Interest is good for disscussions so if you havent already at that too your interests :D.

Hello doctordidi, don't be worry, you can still participate in other mylotters topic of discussion, enjoy it to the fullness, i sure you will. You can meet with new idea through daily life event and problems encountered. One most important thing you need to interact with other people, because most of the time, the idea will emerge out through our interaction with other people, that is why i keep participating in discussion here, which keep my mind active and same goes to you if you do so you will find a lot of ideas which enable you to think broaden and widen. This is my problem too. Sometimes, I get ideas from other posts or I think of something that I think would make a good question and I forget to write it down! lol...the biggest obstacle is coming up with questions that you think others might like responding to.

We're all MyLotters too, haha, so we all face this same dilemma. Here's what I do. I keep my phone or a notepad handy and whenever something happens that I could make into a topic I jot it down so that I can post it later. Try this and you should come up with more topics. You can also sit down and try to write as many things as you can think of to write about and that should help you find some topics. Or you can search the internet for 'journal' prompts or something similar and find topics that way. Good luck!
