when you get amnesia you thinks the mind is can forget but the heart is cant forget?
For me, i think YES.because only your brain is damage, so that you can forget your self, your family, and your love ones, but i think your heart is cant for get that's your family and also your love ones.. Because only your brain have problem not heart.
according to my search amnesia is a profound memory loss which is usually caused either by physical injury to the brain or by the ingestion of a toxic substance which affects the brain. In addition, the memory loss can be caused by a traumatic, emotional event.
People with amnesia have difficulty learning new information, and/or they have difficulty recalling previously learned information. They may be disoriented and confused. Their memory deficit causes problems for them either at work, in school, or in social settings. Sometimes the memory loss is severe enough to necessitate a supervised living situation. so what you think?

Yes, it's given already that the brain is the only one damaged when one has amnesia. But i don't think the love of one person is exempted from that memory loss because the affection of love is controlled by the brain as well. So i think when one has memory loss, there will b a tendency that that person may forget his feelings for his/her special someone. It will also depend on how much is affected by the brain cause by that injury.

I think it depends,yeah you've loss your memory but you can't also remember who's person these in your life maybe you feel sometime little.Amnesia cause to forget of many traumatic indecent or brain damage but the cure of it,is the person who cause it or particular event or place.But it's really hard to adjust when someone is being amnesia.

You can't love someone you can't remember. Although it's really hard to figure out why we love someone, a big part of it comes from memories we have of that person.
About amnesia, it's a rather uncommon condition especially the total loss of memory, but it was just popularized and made common by movies and television programs as this is a very common theme on those.

When you get amnesia, you forgot everything you know about yourself, family and friends. Youe ven forgot what happen in the past. Our memory loss will be temporary.It usually happen when you have an accident.It will affect your brain not our emotions.

for me,amnesia is lost of conscious memory and your subconscious memory govern it.like you forget your family circle but the thing that you love most is the one who will govern it.for instance,you love drawing and when the time you get amnesia,your body do what you love which is drawing.(there are two minds the conscious and unconscious,if our conscious mind malfunction for awhile,we still have another mind which is unconscious.)

I think, when someone gets an amnesia, all the memories stuck in his head would be totally gone and that includes memories about himself, his family and also the ones you love. The brain controls everything in the body and that includes the heart. However, there would be times when there would be a de ja vu feeling or flashbacks like a fluctuating signal that comes and disappear. I guess that's part of recovering.

Amnesia doesn't just affect the mind. it attacks the whole body. Amnesia is thought of as just an illness of the mind, but that is only where it may begin. When the memory is lost to you, it is lost to all of you. Sometimes it is something that can't return. Amnesia doesn't just affect the person who has it. it can also affect everyone around that person as well.

Unfortunately, our emotions are actually processed by our brain. We associate our emotions with the heart because when we feel something, our heart palpitates. But, that is because the brain is telling the heart to palpitate. Unless, of course what is affected is not that part of the brain that processes emotions.

I believe that if you have amnesia, you will also forget the person you love. Because it's the brain that dictates our emotion. So instead of saying I love you from the bottom of my heart, you say I love you from the bottom of my brain. That is the hypothalamus, the part of the brain that regulates our emotion.
