I would definitely go for white sands... It seems a little creepy when you have black sand. Visibility around the area would be low i suppose. And that makes you wonder, what is going on under your feet.hahaha...
I would never trade this for any other sand... hahaha...

I have seen plenty of white sand and golden sandy beaches plus pebbly beaches. In Tahiti I saw a black sand beach and it was amazing. However it was hot to walk on so for that reason I prefer a white sandy beach. My favorite sort of beach is a tropical one with white sand, palm trees and an aquamarine sea. I love it when there is a coral reef within swimming distance. Then I can go snorkeling to see the colorful coral and friendly fish. When I did some sand boarding I got hot feet walking on the sand.

I live in Hawaii so its white sand for me. There is darker sand but its not black, its more brown because of the waves. I've been on a white sand beach, its very nice and the sand is much finer that darker sand.

White sand of course! I don't want to go swimming in a beach with black or even gray sand. I feel like instead of being clean, my body would be in dirt even after swimming. When you step on a black sand, it seems like im stepping on mud..heheh. Good thing we have a lot of white beaches around here..

Personally I prefer white sand beach over black sand beaches. Because aside from aesthetic reason, white sand beaches tend to be cooler on foot than black sand beaches. Black sand beaches will absorb all sun rays especially at noon thus raising its temperature and makes it very difficult to walk on bare feet. On the other hand, white sand beaches, especially those that are really "white" like the ones in Boracay beach, the white sand just reflects sun rays and perhaps just absorb minimum heat thus does not make the sand hot during sunny days. You can even walk barefoot even during noontime. And you wont last walking and strolling on a black sand beaches even with your shoes and slippers on during noon time.

Hello asliah! I totally like white sand than black sand. White sands represents somehow cleanliness and having white sands on the beach means it is much clearer to see beneath the water. Cheers!

Yes, definitely. LOL! I can't imagine going to the beach full of black sand! That really makes it so dull! I prefer white sand as it looks cleaner and really makes the whole place look distinct and big and it feels kind of romantic to me too

White is clean, holy, pure, fresh and bright.
Black is dark, dirty and scary.
For me, I prefer to have white beach and most of the people will have the same choice too.
But some people do like black beach too.
Similarly, some people like to be good persons and some people like to be bad persons.
White or black, Good or not good, they are very subjective to us.

White sand comes from mostly crushed corrals while black sand is from mostly crushed stones. I have no preference whether white or black as long as the sand is clean and the water is clear, your right most people prefer white sand over black and your mother is one of them
