Why do you like anime?

A few reason I like anime include: Seiyuu (voice actors) - My favorite part of many animes are the voice actors. I often choose what anime to watch based on which ones my favorite Seiyuu, such as Mizuki Nana and Wakamoto Norio, star in. Characters/character design - Obviously characters are an important part of any series. Lots of manga and anime have very memorable characters with interesting personalities. Variety - Obviously there's so many different kinds of anime to watch so there's one for everyone. Also there's many different anime for different age groups (stuff for kids and also stuff for mature audiences as well). Also sometimes there's a deep story I like (such as in Elfen Lied) but most of the time the story isn't that important to me and I focus more on characters.

Hello! I too like anime because of the artwork. No offense to cartoons from other countries but the artwork of Japanese anime is very exceptional. The stories are really nice too. Most are not really Saturday morning cartoons but they also involve serious or even dark themes. It's the variety of the story and how in depth story and character developments are in anime. They're not just simple cartoons so to speak.

Hi crockett! I like anime because of its colorful artwork and design. I also like the different facial expressions, the way the artists show the different feelings and emotions that a character feels. It's just so amusing. The stories are amusing and interesting, too! I got addicted to anime when I was still young and now that I'm a little old, well not beyond 30 lol, I still like it. And I think I will still like it in the future. Cheers.

well i've been watching anime films, and tv series since i was a kid. animated films are more fun to watch because anything can happen, and also like you said, good artwork.

The story. It is always the story that captures me with regards to anime. I haven't watched any anime lately but you see, there was a time in my life when I watch anime for the whole day.
