Do you believe that Dumb people really exist?

I really don't think so. Maybe slow-learners but dumb? I don't think so. Well, except for those with mental disorders. When people say things like "Your dumb!" or "You're stupid" to other people because of mistake they didn't mean to do, I feel so bad for them and at the same time I get confuse. Why are they calling people dumb and stupid because of mistakes that they didn't meant like forgetting things or failing exams. If that's the case, then I think scientist like Einstein is dumb as well because of forgetting to comb his hair. What do you think?

Initially, "no" I do not believe that "dumb" people exist. I do believe, however, that smart people often do dumb things" because a lack of thinking. And when they are told to "quit being stupid" the person is actually discussing a particular situation. I think though, that we never should tell a person that we think they are "dumb" or "stupid." It's an unfair mind game.

I do believe that there are people who are just stupid. Like those people who already knew that something bad is gonna happen with their decision, but still decides to do it anyway. And when you ask them why did they do it, they will just reply "I don't know".

You have obviously never worked in a chicken restaurant in the ghetto on a Friday or Saturday night LOL If you have, then you KNOW for a fact that dumb people DO exist...I deal with them every day of my life...

I don't think anyone is innately dumb or stupid. I think people do stupid and dumb things.

It all depends on what we make of our lives.Even if we are short of intellect we can work hard and train ourselves to be smarter.I feel we are the result of the choices we make.Forgetting to comb hair is a minor aberration when one considers the depth of Einstein's achievement.

i am old so in my opinion people are dumb when people are not open to think through other ideas. Why wont people be open to other ideas? Because maybe they are too comfortable or they are too proud to admit they are wrong.
Sorry I am off topic here. With reference to your discussion, however, usually when those people who call other people stupid or dumb are stupid AND dumb themselves.
