Christmas Gift Hunting: What to buy? Is a Mobile a good gift?

Any gift is excellent for Christmas! Make sure you get it with your own heart and mean it :) Back to your question, yes it is indeed a good choice IF the person really needs one. Considering our technology era now, having a mobile phone is nearly to a must thing in life.

From what I've read, you know the person well and know they will use it because they already have a cell phone, so I say just for it and buy it for them as a gift. You all ready know what kind of phone you're getting and that they'll use it and like it, so go ahead fearlessly. There's nothing you can lose. And oh, a good idea is if you're even the tinieist bit unsure if they'll like the gift, get a gift receipt so they can return it and buy something else they'll like. Good luck!

A mobile phone would only be beneficial if they are going to actually use it, can afford to pay for the apps and services, and be responsible with it. Besides that, it can be a very nice gift to give to a person.

Well depending on the kind of person that they are it would be considerate a good gift.Some people are real chatter bugs and text and call all of the time and a new phone would be great for them especially if their current phone is old and the contract is about to expire.If they have recently got a new phone then no it would not be a good idea as usually you have to be close to the contract end before you can get a new phone otherwise their is usually fees that come with changing phones.I would love to get the current get i phone but am strapped for cash now and will have to wait until the summer before I am able to afford one but can' wait until I can have one.

A mobile phone would be a great gift but it depends, does the person have a phone plan. What kind of mobile to replace their phone or give them a prepaid plane or?? More details would be helpful but that would be nice :)

I wouldn't give a mobile phone as a gift unless it was for a significant other, or a child in the family. If you are wanting to buy a phone for a wife/husband then yes, I think it's a great idea.

Depending on how much you want to spend there are a lot of great gifts out there! If you're up to spending a lot, there are always new tech gadgets out there. I think one of the hottest this Christmas are E-readers. I, myself, am getting a Kindle - can't wait! I think a mobile phone would be a good gift if the person needs it and can afford to keep it (monthly fees.) And just remember, when it doubt - buy a gift card! Everyone can use a gift card!
